yeh the 5-4-1 didn’t work but he switched that to 4-4-2 after about 35 mins and from then on it was more even. That period from 10-35 mins tho Leeds could have scored 2-3

Well I've waited till this morning but still can't work out how the keeper missed the ball. Not bothered one bit mind Karma can be a bitch and I thought overall we deserved a point. Some good things to take from the game Leeds will be up there come the end of the season and we matched them. Dan Neil best game for a while particularly 2nd half Jobe good again thought Rigg tired a little not surprised by that. Roberts played well but struggled to find a man in the box. Don't normally comment on refs but 2nd half in particular thought he was appalling almost as disappointed with the equaliser as Leeds were. Terrible performance from him. We keep going to the end and that draw will feel like a win to our lads. Not bothered if people leave they pay there money but you run the risk of missing things like last night. Leeds really don't need to feign injury and waste time but I'm so pleased you did. Nice to see you looking so well @Smug in Boots . Catch up again soon. Just looking at video of 2nd goal and cirkin turning away as the ball approaches the keeper then turns back on the roar and still doesn't know what's happened. Right of to golf with my Leeds supporting mate who reckons they dominated the game and is mystified how they didn't win. I'll let him know. :1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0136-giggl

Mind jobe had a couple of early chances and with a little more composure should have tested the keeper.

He seems to have a pretty set vision of the bench. 2 defenders, 2 midfielders, 2 attacking midfielders, 2 forwards. He’s not gonna use all that many (which we need to get used to) so seems to view it at least partially as an exercise in providing injury cover. Once players start coming back from injury it’s going to be a challenge to keep everyone engaged. Probably going to end up being glad of suspensions and the like!

Jobe was our best player last night imo, followed by Cirkin.

Jobe has just stepped it up this season, even the misses was because he was trying to place them out the keepers reach right in the corner. If he manages to actually pull that off more often he will go to the very top!

Cirkin for me was poor the last two matches before last night, by his standards I mean! But last night he was back on it!

I am really liking Roberts this season. Like a different player. I know the end product isn't always there but if it was he wouldn't be playing in championship would he? Also think having a bit more to aim at in the box could help.

Thought the corners were poor and way too easy for him. However delighted with his total cock up after all of his time wasting. Karma really did bite him on the arse tonight.

I agree. I thought Bellingham was having to come too deep to pick the ball up meaning Neil was a spare part at times and Bellingham was missing further up the pitch. I remember the ball being over with Rigg on the right side of the pitch and Neil was stood between O’nien and Cirkin on the left about 30 yards from the ball and making no attempt to get over. He should be following the play always looking to create space for that pass to beat their press imo, that’s what the best DM’s do. They’re never far away from the ball when it’s in their own half.

The only Sunderland fan I’ve seen who said that. Can’t work out why you don’t think so when they were the better side for about 20 minutes and we had as many chances and as much of the ball as them.

Looked at some Stats from the game to see how a few players did:

Neil - 84% pass success (6 misplaced passes), what I liked tho was 47% of his passes were forward passes which is what I want to see in a CDM. He won 67% of defensive duels, 6 interceptions n 6 recoveries

Jobe - 95% success rate (2 misplaced passes), however only 14% were forward passes, won 60% of defensive duels, 1 interception n 4 recoveries

Mundle - 77% completed dribbles, not going to lie I didn't think it was anywhere near that but that's very impressive stat wish. He also won 70% of his defensive duels, showed how hard he worked.

I said last night Roberts would get my motm but having watched it back I'd give it to Cirkin

His stats were impressive as well:
83% pass rare, over 50% of these were forward passes, 44% dribble success rate, won 4 out if 5 aerial duels, 5 interceptions, 11 ball recoveries n won 67% of defensive duels

Stats are Stats so make of them what you will but thought I'd share a few with you all

Definitely mate but it’ll be a nice position to be in. Huggins and Samed are the two we need back ASAP. I think Samed can make an impact instantly and we all know how good Huggins is (if he can stop picking up injuries). I think the full backs are integral to this system and if we were to lose Cirkin in particular we’d really struggle.

He did have a massive brain injury and a lobotomy on the field, may have affected him

Just how I seen it. Thought Leeds were rock solid be honest. Really had us stumped as the home team for large periods

Went for a few more slurps after the match and it honestly felt like a win. Looking at the crestfallen Leeds fans faces as they were leaving the ground it was hard not to laugh. Who am I kidding it was funny as fk and yes I laughed out loud at them.

Still can't quite believe that happened.

From when we scored until when we changed shape, probably about a 20 minute spell, I thought it was the worst we played this season. Leeds could've put the game out of reach in that spell if they were more clinical. Outside of that though we more than matched them.

The 541 shape really didn't help Neil. Don't want to see that again.

Leeds do not concede many chances to anyone, to create what we did was honestly impressive considering how little they give up.

A big round of applause to the groundsmen tonight for putting that divot just in the right place <laugh>. Oh boy that goal is going to be shown more than DB's beach ball effort.

Oh yeah I get opinions. May have looked different in the ground too as I was working so couldn’t get there last night. But what I watched from around 30 minutes was a very even game with a poor ref and a keeper who loved to time waste. Got exactly what he deserved in my book

Is that the strangest goal we've scored since the beach ball? I can't think of many others.

Even game I thought. Brilliant in the first 15, just wish we could have kept that going instead of the weird Dan Neil centre half experiment. Need to keep cirkin fit and i think we’ll be there or there abouts. Hopefully have a few more bodies back after internationals. Agree with other posters about Hume, think he’s been poor for a while and I’m a big fan of his

Wilson has been given a bit of stick last night, considering he's more of a winger than C.F. and he was quite isolated thought he never stopped trying.
I'm sure him following Browne's thunderbolt in could have distracted their keeper and made him take his eye off the ball, can't think of why he didn't throw his cap on it and pick it up but hey ho, happy days.
