I think even I'd rather Liverpool win it over Arsenal, though I can't believe I'm saying that. Something genuinely dislikable about Arteta and his crowd. Despite everything (the overwhelming loathing of them basically) , Klopp left behind a really good squad and they are an actual proper big club. Some over hyped ****e in there, but not too bad in the main.
I am having trouble with it too. I dont want City to win again because I dont want the PL to become like the SPL. But who would I rather between Liverpool and Arsenal? Its hard because Arsenal are Chelsea's local rivals obviously, and I dont like them because of that, but half my family supports Arsenal. (my mum, maternal grandad and brother). I dont dislike the current Liverpool team, their players seem cool, they have no asshats in the team, and I generally liked Klopp and have no beef with Slot, havent seen enough of him. But I just cannot get over my intense hatred of everything Liverpool. What they claim to stand for and how their fans are.......(This board aside....mostly) So because of the familial links, ill go with Arsenal. The last 5 years must have been hell for United fans, the three teams doing the best are literally all your traditional rivals, both in terms of geography and competitive history.
Because he was just not good enough. added 50% to his total goals scored last night. Mugged Leicester off by selling an unwanted Yoof.
City winning is the easiest result for everyone. Nobody south of Crewe knows a City fan. Everyone everywhere knows some absolute throbber coming out the woodwork for Arsenal or a diehard Liverpool fanatic who went to the Anfield megastore in 2007.
Aye I have generally been of that same opinion, I wouldnt know a City fan if he slapped me in the nutsack, have never met one. I dont think any exist south of Crewe like you said. But the thought of City cleaning up again.....just makes me think "Ugh". I dont know.....
There's two bald frauds in this league chief and it ain't our man is all I'm saying bro. Maybe when you said the *no tweaks whatsoever" you got mixed up with your own lot after 3years of zero improvement and I can forgive that mate
Literally saw some **** on the tube wearing a city top and carrying a Chelsea club shop bag on my way to Luton airport. Will post evidence later
This is true. Arsenal winning would be my last choice by a mile because of rivalry and their fans are unbearable/deluded when Arsenal even come close to any sort of success.
lol aye, but of a cheek walking into the Chelsea megastore wearing another teams jersey though. I have been to the Arsenal, Villa etc shops, but never wearing a Chelsea shirt, or if I was, I had a coat over it.
It's someone else's team, in the one game I have watched (against us) I didn't see a great deal of difference. It's been a case of go out there and do what you do. I'm sure an expert who's never been to a game will tell me otherwise though. Remember when Solskjaer took over at United and won a load of games and lots of ill informed idiots got over excited? Well, that. Maybe the home defeat v Forest should be seen as a red flag, I'd be calming the **** down as its been fewer than ten games. I mean, Ange was given London manager of the year last season because his team managed to scrape a home win in the 19th minute of injury time v possibly the worst premier league team in history, Sheffield United, and it showed he'd invented attacking football or something. They won **** all in the end. That's how over excited folks get about premier league football, it's all hyperbolic bollocks.
This. Am having to warn a lot of Chelsea fans to pump their breaks as well because we have strung a few wins together, and scored a few goals, people start getting all billy big bollocks. There is a long way to go in the season yet, and any ****ing thing can happen. I think Liverpool have got a cracking starting XI, but their squad is a little thin, wait till the business end of the season approaches and injuries start creeping in and the new manager boost has calmed down and we might be seeing something different.
We haven't really played anyone yet (no offence), I'll start making an opinion once we've had some difficult games but the signs are good.
I don't think that's an offensive comment at the moment really. Even ****ing Tottenham made Man Utd look ****e, the issue with them (Man Utd) is you just have no idea what you're going to get. When we play them it wouldn't be a surprise for the game to be 3-0 either way.
