Out of the three title contenders, I’d choose Liverpool to win it every time over Arsenal and City What can I say, I’m a rebel
Sorry love ... Tom Cannon's on loan from us ... in fairness, I wanted to keep him ... 4 goals is pretty impressive tbf ...
He's looked decent on his few appearances for us - came with a back injury so didn't feature fir much of the season. He's quick, technically good and got a really good shot in both feet ... Would much rather have seen him given some game time rather than bringing in Cordova-Reid and Ayew ... but Cooper definitely wanted to bring in more experienced forward players ... shame.
Chelsea?! Woooooah there.... I know we have looked decent of late, especially compared to previous seasons, but we are no where near the level of City or even Arsenal or Liverpool. Our forward players seem to have gotten their acts together and we are scoring goals, but I am far from convinced that our defence is where it needs to be to mount a title challenge. A top 4 fight is the best we can hope for this season I think..... We might be a good shout for a cup, FA or Europa Conference, but the league? Hell nah...... I hope I am proved wrong! If we are amongst it in Jan or Feb then I might allow myself to believe, but I cant see it.
Knew if you could get Fofana fully fit you'd have an exceptional talent - his character leaves a bit to desire - effectively went on strike to get moves to us and from us ... but he was incredibly good before his injury and was a key component in our FA Cup win and of a top 6 finish ...
Same could be said of Sancho.....his attitude is a bit suspect, but he looks a cracking player. Hopefully we wont be as injury hit this season, and I hope Maresca utilises Nkunku more in the league as he looks awesome. Still cant see us competing for no league title. I dont think City will do it again, I think with Rodri out and De Bruyne getting older and constantly picking up knocks, they may get pipped, but it will be Arsenal or Liverpool that pip them, certainly not the Chels
As if I'd watch, rather **** in my hands and clap! Same team as Klopp's playing the same game, football. Seemingly Gravenberch has come on so I'll give him that one.
