please log in to view this image v v 2nd October venue Ashton Gate 8:00pm Bristol City host Sheff Weds who will be backed by 3500 traveling fans-fantastic turnout for a 6 hour round trip on a Wednesday evening. Bristol City 2 points ahead on nine points and Sheff Wed on seven points in the championship. Sheff Weds winning 3-2 against WBA and Bristol City holding Swansea 1-1 in Wales. Having two homes games this week -we need to see 6 points on the board come Sunday afternoon. I hope Liam Manning sticks with the formation and players that started in Swansea- we Bristol City looked balanced and played some really good football. Sheff wed will be well up for this and will be looking to leap above us in the league. I'm going for a hard fought 2-1 home win.
After all these years supporting City, through many different players and managers, I STILL haven’t got a clue what score to predict - whoever the opposition is!!
Great first half-lovely football great to watch-just needs the goals to flow. This set up is the way forward. ⚽️❤️⚽️❤️⚽️
We still don’t have that real threat on goal though do we. Nobody shoots from outside the box, and some seem incapable of passing with their ‘other’ foot which loses time and momentum in attacks for me. Always baffles me how professional footballers can’t use their other foot, it happens with so many players, even at the highest level.
This is dire, a terrible watch. I used to enjoy watching football. It'so embarrassing listening to the Sky commentators trying to big up this crap.
I didn’t want to be harsh on him too early, but I’m struggling to see he’s the missing link to the forward line. He flatters to deceiy for me so far, but early days.
I am unable to watch the match as it is covered by Sky Sports which means no Robins TV. It all sounds a bit Bristol City from the comments posted at the 70th minute and lack of scoring power appears to still be one of our downfalls along with certain players not meeting the mandate but not watching leaves me struggling to say anything at all. Our inability to field a truly competitive squad season after season has to be down to several things including our apparent lack of ambition combined with bringing in new players who regularly fail to meet the level of the player they replaced. I don't expect next season to be any better because I fail to see how our owner expects this lot to be contenders.
Very disjointed from both teams. Wednesday came for a point and got one because we had no cutting edge. Need a win on Sunday.
