Suffolk, I think you'll find that Clements' was also employed as Head of Goalkeeping. That's how he designated himself anyway, on his social media account. You normally see that designation used in relation to Academies -- "Head of Academy Goalkeeping" -- so in our case it may be intended to reflect the club's unitary approach to football at all levels.

The voting is now open for the Norwich City Player of the Month for September, presented by our primary partners Anglian Home Improvements.

Only one winner, Sainz, but worth a vote

Yes, it has to be Sainz, but I'm looking forward to seeing Kellen Fisher in next month's short list.

Ben Lee's latest blog post, analysing the Derby game, illustrates the degree to which both the players' understanding and comfort in execution of Thorup's ideas have accelerated in the last couple of weeks, something Thorup himself commented on in his interview with Paddy Davitt. As Ben Lee says in concluding his piece, Leeds will put that understanding and comfort to its most severe test yet.

In the current table we have played five of the top eight teams but zero of the bottom eight. Puts our position into perspective I think.

No sign of a new coach coming in to replace Narcis Pelach as yet and sounds like we have had an approach knocked back according to Fabrizio Romano.

Ben Knapper will not be impressed by this "rejection" becoming public. Not his modus operandum at all.

Good stat - if we are able to convert into wins matches where we are the favourite…

You could argue Oxford are top 8 on points.

True, but then Swansea would be top 8 as well and five would become six ...............
Whatever, GE 2's point is still valid even if we've only played 4 rather than five of the top eight.

I did say "as it stands" which was before the Wednesday matches which saw Swansea lose and drop down a couple of places.

We still have not played any of the bottom eleven sides. This will change drastically in the next few weeks. Hull are now the lowest placed team we have played, in thirteenth place after this weekend.

Historically we have had difficulty breaking down teams who sit deep, so it will be an interesting phase of the season

True, I hadn't realised how far they had fallen.
