He was ****. Had a decent pass on him but an awful keeper. It ultimately cost the manager his job and probably us the play offs. He’s now sat on the bench in league one, behind another poor keeper
I wonder how many more games before people move on. There's clear reasons why Pandur wasn't thrown in. I can't think of many if any games late last season where Allsop, as opposed to our attackers, cost us points.
It's certainly a gamble. But I'm starting to suspect he knows what he's doing. Championship forwards are championship forwards after all. Let's hope ours are better than the majority.
It's weird, we've looked so open and we keep saying "A better team would smash us" but then QPR didn't. Will be interesting to see how we go against Norwich but another win and it's hard not to buy into it. BUT Pandur with some massive saves kept us in it at the start so who knows.
I'm also curious to see how it goes if teams start parking the bus against us as Walter seems to struggle with that. We were fortunate Cardiff went all out against us rather than setting up for a point, but teams won't stay that open against us for long. While it's working we take it though.
I enjoyed watching tonight. I didn’t see Cardiff. Stoke was still ****e, despite the goals and result. Couldn’t have complained if we were totally dead and buried in the first 20 minutes against either QPR tonight or Stoke last weekend though.
Was promotion the expectation this year? After pretty much an entire staff overhaul and focus on youth? I doubt it.
Not talking about this year In general Im not bothered about promotion myself anyway If he had us finishing in and around the playoffs with exciting games id be happy **** the prem
In 61 years of going to City I have seen more relegations than promotions so can live with a more enjoyable watching experience than some of the dire stuff we have watched with no end result,
It will be too much for bottom half sides but play off and promotion contenders will easily pick it off I reckon, as we've seen already and will probably see again on Saturday. So no better off in terms of the overall picture but at least it's entertaining.
