Browne is a very good footballer at this level. No tin hat needed for me. Think Dan Neil could do with a rest personally. He just hasn’t got
That “crispness” in his passing. Struggling for confidence

TBH, I don't think we broke sweat tonight ...

... just got the job done, against L1 opposition, and managed the game quite well.

Professional performance that, sloppy in patches but that's the championship for you. We have real quality in this team and they are so well drilled out of possession.

Mundle motm for me, thought he class at times and they had to keep doubling up on him. Mepham very close 2nd tho, he's some player - really like hin n o9 as a partnership at the minute, compliment each other very well.

Thought neil looked more like it, really good CDM display from him, just kept things ticking over and did the defensive stuff very well

Thought jobe was off it a bit tonight, took too many touches at times when there were simple early passes on but what a goal n he covered so much ground

Roberts was off it tonight but he's been so good this season so just an off night

Really like Isidor, got something about him n him and Mayenda both give us good options up front

Also thought Rusyn put in a good shift when he came on, put himself about well

Aye, Clarke aswell as his attacking was like a duracell bunny never stopped going and was always in around the opposition trying to nick it back and Mundle does all that. Very very good signs so far!

Wilson had that strange athletic, lanky, winger forward aura. It's mad. Like he can just play anywhere across the front and be an arsehole. Sure it's biology based ha

Far from our best again, made it a far tougher game than it needed to be, passing was poor at times, that said 3 more in the bag and another clean sheet that’ll do me, onto Leeds

Take the points and move on. Some good, some bad but at the end of the day we are top of the league.

Both goals are real moments of quality. The first a great strike by Jobe, the second a lovely team move.

Mundle and Jobe the standouts for me. Mepham dealt with everything sent his way also. Cirkin carried the ball well in the first half especially when we were under a bit of pressure.

Shout out to Dan Neil tonight, nothing flash but a solid performance and a much needed one after Saturday.

    The promotion bus rolls on.

    cheers again RTB...

derby made a good game of it for the fiirst 20 minutes or so but both teams then struggled to get any real control, in the end we did what we did, took a couple of chances and kept them out...when we get it right it looks really 'silky' but when we don't it can be pretty scary, young lads, new coach, all are learning as they go.

dan neil played exactly as i wanted him to, kept it simple and passed the ball well, seems he has given himself a bit of a kick up the @rse after last week, not saying he was brilliant and mistake free but i could not say that about any of them in truth...see above.

my MotM is off to rigg again for his first half work mainly, no stand-outs but a lot of hard work from them all, patto comes a close second.

ref watch, what a w@nk he is mind...i have said many times that ref's have a very hard job and unlike us (and the punters) they do not have any benefit of slow-mo replays from 10 angles but when a team is blatantly having those niggles constantly and fouling often then at least give them a good talking to then hand a card or two out...looks like derby saw what watford got away with and decided to give us a 'third division game' again but add to that so many wrong calls, missed calls the game was slowed right down.
