Derby have made a few changes and have changed shape to a back 5 by the looks of things. Bit concerned about their height especially with Nat Phillips coming into the side so hope we keep their set pieces to a minimum. Marcus Harness often plays decent against us as well.

Hope we deal with the wing backs tonight better than we did on Saturday.

That's a good bench and the game lasts 90 minutes ...

... I hope we get past the first ten minutes before people start piling in saying we're passive or haven't created a chance.

OK, I think it has better players than the Derby starting eleven.

Probably just pre-match nerves but I'm feeling apprehensive that we're going to huff and puff against what, on paper, is a decent defence in a low block and then get caught on the counter or from a set piece.

Back in the eighties I was going to buy a 2ltr vauxhall Carlton but I decided to buy a nice little 1.3 Vauxhall astra. Fairly new, low miles, my thoughts were it would be cheaper to get to the games and i was going to go to as many games as I could.
It was the first game of the season at roker park against Derby.
I'd got about 130 miles when some cùnt drove into the back of me on the A1 near Knaresborough .

The car was a write off after just a few months ownership.
Not long after I was made redundant. My fiance and I split up and it took two years for me to get paid out somewhere around 6 grand back then.

It stopped me going to games regularly, I bought a nice Capri for a decent price that a cousin put me onto. I found another less paid job straight after to keep me going until a better job came along. I got over the fiance and enjoyed my new found freedom with other lasses <laugh>
I got my money back and met the Mrs and had 3 kids. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I never used the M62 A1 again. Preferring the M6 A66 after that.
    Do I hate Derby ?
Nah, it wasn't their fault, and their coaches full of supporters mooning at me stranded on the A1 did make me laugh after I'd lost it with the bloke who ran into me <laugh>

No, I met the Mrs and my son chose the right path and supports Sunderland :emoticon-0148-yes:
Although he told me last night he's met some skanky Newcastle tart on holiday who supports the mags FFS.

He better not fetch her here :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

    Why am I posting arl this ****e <doh> ?

I dunno, just fancied a rant.
Hope we smash the fookin sheep shagging drabshire bastads :emoticon-0148-yes:<laugh><laugh><laugh>

Don't worry mate, your feelings won't affect the game in any way ...

... besides I'm feeling optimistic so that balances things out <laugh>

This is the 3rd season at this level, we know we’ll come up against teams who’ll sit deep at the SoL and let us try to break them down. Had plenty of time to get used to it by now

I guess that Derby will be in our faces. We’ve got to fight for the right to play, like in the league 1 days.

Great story, here's my most random Derby story.

We're away, at the Baseball Ground for a night match, and I've organised a forty seater coach from Mansfield.

We're marching through Derby and there's a few groups of Derby looking for an easy target but we're not one of those.

I spot a policewoman who is the daughter of an ex-girlfriend, walk over and give her a big kiss and hug, making sure to squeeze her bum. She was so surprised to see me she didn't resist, I always thought she fancied me tbh.

The Derby hooligans booed and my lot took this as a cue to attack them ...

... me and the lass just stood there shaking our heads as they vanished over the railway bridge <laugh>

Great thread as usual @RTB, always appreciate your efforts.

I've kind of kept off the match day threads, or at least predicting results anyway.
The first one I did this season was Plymouth, where I predicted a comfortable away win.
So I'm not making a one tonight, but I did have some nice lambs liver for me tea tonight....make of that what you will.

Well today is my birthday. I am older but not wiser. I think we will win. I hope we do it in style. You see I like my footy to be sexy. I am watching in a boozer full of Derby. I live in this region. Have my pin badge on. Everyone knows me anyway. Already had too many jars.

Anyway, haway the lads. I want Rigg to put on a master class so I can sit saying he is only just 17 to everyone in here <laugh>

Apolohies in advance for messy posts later <cheers><cheers>
