    <rose> RIP KRIS KRISTOFFERSON <rose>

A fabulous songwriter, characterful singer and better actor than either Bowie or Jagger or me...

I picked up a Rita Coolidge album at my local car boot sale a couple of weeks ago ,one of the reasons was it had Kris Kristofferson on it and the other it was 50p , it is terrible apart from the one Kristoffersen track
Good actor and very good singer RIP

They're on tour next month. It was intended that we go to the London gig, but uncertainty over the date of my mother's funeral has resulted in the purchase of tickets for Southampton, unnecessarily, as it turns out...<party>

Attendees at the gig can purchase, on vinyl only, what is the first ever Undertones live album. That is a ****ing surprise to me...but it appears to be true.

    Andy Mackay no less....:emoticon-0148-yes:
Loved his playing in RM - arguably that and Manzanera were the things that elevated the band musically.

Apparently, he produced their recording of this track.

I'm a fan of Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music...there I've said it. The first album I bought Mrs B was a Roxy/Ferry greatest hits compilation. We went to see him, at Wembley, not that long after (on the Bete Noire tour), I sprung for really good tickets, in a venue I loathe..and he was ****. :emoticon-0121-angry

    Ah well....

    A bit more E&THR...

    Damn! That bass player's good.

I'm not sure if I've said before , but Eddie is Eddie Hollis, the band's manager/producer and later ally of The Damned. Also brother of Mark Hollis.

Great memories of the three rabbits pub in Stratford, seem to remember it was in a road called the Warren which make sense
They also played the Horn of Plenty in St Albans

I'm sure someone's posted this duo on here before, though I've no idea why.
What prompted me to stick this up, then? The Sue in question is Sue Chaloner, a singer from London.
So what? She's also the mother of Pascal Jansen, the manager of Ferencvaros. Born over here and moved to Holland as a youngster.

In other Feeling Old Yet? news, Eminem is going to be a grandfather.
This goes with the offspring of Tony Hawk and Kurt Cobain & Courtney Love having a kid.
