Stoke v Hull was an entertaining game on Sky last night , but both clubs have new foreign managers you would never have heard of. A Spaniard at Stoke, a German at Hull. The Championship & lower leagues should be a training environment for up and coming English coaches. Stoke have just appointed the first foreign manager in their history. We have one too, so I suppose I can’t complain too much …
It seems that Foreign Coaches are the flavour of the month. I am sure there are lots of good British coaches out there they just need an opportunity.
David Moyes for instance. Wet Spam fans "Moyes Out!!" For pity's sake, the bloke only won you a European Trophy. Are they happy now? Taken apart by the Plastic Population today 3 straight 'home' defeats at the White Elephant Stadium.
I have to say regressing after what Moyes did in overachieving with the hammers was inevitable. serves them right for hounding him out
The Cost of living crisis must be bad in Preston. One of their strikers took a bite out of a Blackburn player this afternoon, so I hear.
Sad news. Those images of the damage to the pitch look shocking. If that collapse had happened during a match players might have been killed. An investigation should be launched into what has happened. The suspicion must be that the foundations of the playing surface are not what they should have been.
Elfsborg are away to Alkmaar in the first game of the group stage in the Europa League, a lot of my mates are there, four coaches left Sweden last night.
Looks like the Porn Baron’s at West Ham have made another costly managerial error. I will never understand the logic of them appointing a manager who speaks such difficult to understand English. But enough about David Moyes.
Always a good weekend when this happens - especially seeing all the satellite fans crying in their beer darn sarf
I’m watching the Bournemouth v Southampton game ….I think the Saints could end up with the fewest number of points in PL history this season.
I heard that their manager will stick to playing out from the back, even though it means they have lost every game before they kick a ball. Is he more in love with a tactic his players aren't good enough to employ than staying in the Premier League? If so, they are already relegated.
