It’s time to go “back to basics” says Nathan Jones. Thats a worry, as the football we are playing at the moment is very basic. I’d abandon the 3-5-2 against Rovers. It’s pointless. Our wing backs can’t cross a ball, which means our strikers get no service.
Surely we need to move on FROM the basics. A midweek away game with us not pulling up trees does not bode well.
We can only move on from the basics when we get them right. I heard this one might be called off because of the weather (or consequences thereof).
The only time I've been to this fixture it finished 5-5, with Andy Nelson publicly blaming Dave Shipperly for our defensive weakness.
