Must have been on the space dust Nixon. Just because a club is happy to splash the cash doesn't mean it's on. Silly thing to print and just don't happen. Rigg will have the pick of clubs at the top level.

I would be interested to see how much people would be willing to pay for Patterson. If it's well into double figures, I would be tempted to sell.
I’d probably take £8m for Patto needs to be better with his feet for clubs to spent 10plus on him

Isidor - he's 4 year-older than Mayenda and it shows. I'd like to see them both play at some point, I think away from home especially it'd be good to make teams more fearful of us.
Right back to the start of the KLD era, speakman likes to have at least one forward who is versatile. It makes sense tbh. Means that we haven’t got four players competing for a single shirt - which would be bad squad planning imo. Once we get people fit and up to speed I could see us fielding three of our forwards across the front line if we find ourselves chasing a game.

Mind that would likely mean RLB starts using subs more. It’s frustrating to me I’ll admit, but then you don’t see Pep make many subs either. And if ever there was a coach who had the squad that would warrant it, it’d be him. Hopefully we see a bit more rotation as the squad gets more established.

i thought similar on subs but despite our transfer activity i didnt think the nest was too inspiring yesterday.

100%, he knows where to be, when to come short, when to go long and makes those front post moves that good strikers do. I am left wanting with Mayenda when it comes to in the box movement. He will get there though.

also with Connolly coming in, that’s his best strength is his in the box movement. I love mayenda and think he’s been good and done really well but I do see him being in the bench more as the season goes on personally

Just interested in where you would play them both and who would make way, if it's the usual front line of Mundle, Mayenda and Roberts

Just seeing people saying Nixon linking Rigg with brum? Wtf? Is he off his tits!

I know he just wants people to spend money and pay for the story but that's ****ing mad!

Floodgates have opened for Isidor hopefully! Great to see him score and have a good performance on his first start. Will do wonders for his confidence
Was lucky enough to bump into a few of the players when we got off the train at Peterborough yesterday…
While Yellowbelly Jnr was grabbing a few photos I had a chat with Wilson (we’re on first name terms now!). He said that he’s here for the long term - I’m delighted, great lad, decent player and a fantastic song!! [he knows the words too!]

I'd play mundle wide right, it'd have to be a particular game though...if we are expecting to counter but we are under the cosh, Mundle down the right crossing balls to Mayenda and Isidor is exciting to me

Interesting. I can see your point but on current form I would be loathe to leave out Roberts. Like you say it would need to be a specific game. Glad I'm not RLB to sort it all out when everyone is fit

That's it, easy for me to say this, it's just a suggestion of a tactic really, I feel like the game was back and forth yesterday and whilst we didn't look terrible, I feel like we are capable of being in possession more. Picking our moments better too, its a must for attrition.

Just imagine bringing Roberts off for Isidor, having two forwards for attacks, Cirkin and Mundle bombing balls in the box.

I would go for 2 up front if we went 3 at the back but that again would mean taking out at least 1 of Jobe, Rigg, Mundle or Roberts. Who would be a manager or head coach????

He must be on a weekend bender, out of all the clubs linked why the hell would Birmingham even be in the running, even if they could technically afford it. :emoticon-0102-bigsm[/QUOTE

Well I’m currently suffering a boring young Brummie twat at work who keeps trying to tell anyone who will listen that the Blues are a similar size of club to ours and who will be challenging for the Premier League title inside five years.

Goalie coach should be working with Pato on his foot ball control/ distribution.
I would make Futsal part of our training regime. To be honest I would do it across all age groups. I have never seen anything so effective for getting players moving the ball quickly. Keepers in particular develop unbelievable ball skills. It is where Pickford developed as a young lad.
