Even if he semi ready , rest him . It's a long season & we need Lita reasonably sharp in case of a more serious injury to Graham . Getting minutes 2 games in a row will give Lita a bit of sharpness , a bit of confidence & Graham a well deserved rest even though it's probably not welcomed rest on his part . We will miss his tenacity up front though . Also , nice to know that Jazz can come in on either wing in a pinch , did well on the left when we were injury prone last season or the season before . Again , good for his confidence even though his minutes may not be so good for us with no other help for at least 6 games . Cheers !

I think Lita will do well against Blackburn. For some reason in my head this game is seeming like Millwall away toward the end of last year. Hopefully the result will be the same, but I think Lita's "bulldogish" style should do well.

Unless we get the supply to them, it really doesn't matter who we have upfront.

    Really?

Conceded 1 against Man Utd, 6 clean sheets in the league, I think the defence is handling the PL brilliantly.

Jazz will be fine, I thought that he did well last Saturday, against Agbonlahor, he grew into the game, and for a youngster, being thrown into the deep end of Premiership football, he's going to take some time to get used to things, but it will be good for him, Rodgers was happy with his performance last Saturday too!............

I think everybody was happy. He struggled in the first 5 minutes, but then his confidence grew and he played very well.

Its the defence that is keeping us just outside the relegation places. and vorm of course, I'm glad Lita is playing for a change as we have not been very good with danny recently. all we have to do now is remind the midfield which way they are suppose to play the ball......towards the opposition and not towards vorm.....

Avoiding defeat is important, yes. As with the majority of most of our games, it will come down to who can get the first goal. Generally, if we concede, we'll go on to lose. If we can get the first goal (especially in the 1st half), we'll usually go onto to dominate, and most likely win, the game.

I'm not worried about Jazz. He's the Wales U21 captain - the boy has talent and if you give him the chance, he'll take it. He's got his nerves out of the way, and there's less nerves away from home, so I expect a good performance from him. He was getting forward much better in the second half against Villa and even got in behind their full back a couple of times, so I'll think he'll get even greater joy against Blackburn. I think we can win this, if we score first I'm predicting a 3-1 win to us.

I think Lita will give us more of an attacking threat, you won't find him coming deep as often as Graham. But at the same time, that completely changes our team's dynamic. The change up lead to a 3-0 win against WBA, so I await to see if the same change has the same effect again.

Don't forget Graham does a lot of good work in the air when we are defending corners and set-pieces, whereas Lita won't. At 6'4" Samba could cause us some serious problems.

I think what you meant to say was "It's the defence that is giving us the opportunity of being 2 points away from 8th place in the Premier League" :emoticon-0105-wink:

Have empty or half full I guess , optimist or pessimist . Looking at who & where we;ve played I'm a half full optimist . But this is the first time well have had to deal with Rangel missing for any length of time so I'm a bit nervous

Have to disagree with you there mate, Lita is MUCH better in the air than Graham anyway. Graham is perhaps more clever with the way he stands his ground backing into defenders but the leap on Lita is incredible. He's got springs in his calf muscles!
