You can’t put our goal down to a brainfart - was actually a very good cross and movement from Jota. Jota had about 3 of those where got across the man at crosses and was unlucky not to get the end of them. This time they brought him down. Was good play from Jota - more so than just say someone sticking up an arm and hand balling it out of nothing.

Bjt if you’re going to do that, also have to say the one we gave them was the same, so like I say, evened out in that case.

Yeah but my high expectations is you don't absolutely throw a goal in that a Sunday league team wouldn't if toy want to do anything.

It wasn't the best performance but this is excessively harsh.
We deserved to lose against Forest, but yesterday's win was deserved, even if not entirely convincing.

Maybe it is but maybe we didn't deserve to lose to forest single shot in target and maybe we did cos we were poor amd thry had a plan.

However against wolves to see such a poor performance and passing again and then absolutely throw a goal in really misses me off. 1-0 and I'd be shrugging we got the job done bit thst goal was as bad as anything this lot have done over thr past 5 years and continues a theme of idiotic stupidity that has raised its head tine and again.

It was a stupid mistake by a player who also scored, and has been pretty solid all season so far.
Mistakes happen - care to suggest a team that never makes them? Or anyone, in any walk of life, for that matter.

    It's like watching trent defend.

You.just now he might try to jockey a player but just like yesterday he will always let them cut inside him and shoot.

    He hasn't a ****ing clue.

When players do the same old things it's not really a.mistake as much as a pattern.

    A weakness in them.

Arne Slot has become the first Liverpool manager to win the first three away games in the league

Really have to say how impressive Gravenberch has been. We all thought would be a struggle and was a round peg in a square hole, but he’s stepped up and shown the type of form that got everyone’s attention at Ajax and got him a move to Bayern.

    Stats from yesterday
    8/8 duels won
    3/3 tackles made
    57/62 passes

Takes the ball really well on the half turn and can progress up the field with carries and passing.

Now, only short period and against arguably slightly easier teams. Big test will be coming up against Chelsea arsenal villa Leipzig Leverkusen. At the moment he’s made himself vital alongside Mac.

Hopefully Elliott is back soon to help give szobo a rest and can rotate that midfield a bit more.

He's a classy player who plays on the half turn and has the ability to carry the balll and to pass but the off the ball work is nothing short of astounding to the point of where did that come from.

I'm not worried about him against better sides, I think we have more players to be worried about Luke trent, robbo and the like.

Fixed your post. No need for the last bit when speaking positively about a player.

Not worried about about him, more than it’ll be the true test. Gets through those and think everyone’s goes ok, this kid can cement that 6 role in this Slot system for next number of years now.

Suddenly January comes around and it’s an ok, maybe we don’t need to spend 70m on a player in that exact role, but maybe more just someone to compete/rotate with him and Macca. Or someone to replace Salah/VVD/TAA if they haven’t signed new deals.

Well I'm telling you I'd be more worried about Robertson losing pace and trent wandering about aimlessly pretending thst he's a major influence while his position is being over ran

Both of these should be massive targets for the better teams.

There is every need to express oneself any time.one feels like it.

Gravenberhc won't be an issue v Chelsea but imo those wide areas will be.

Robbo will be fine if he plays once a week….it does look like he’s slowing down but he’ll cope as long as he’s not overplayed. He was poor on Saturday but many were….Trent is and always has been an attacking full back…..there will always be space behind them. My main issue with him is that when he is in position, he’s passed way too easily. Great with the ball at feet though……curse him when he’s dribbled past, praise him when he splits defences open. It’s the same every year.

I’m pretty sure that Caicedo will leave his mark on the game….or at least on Gravenberch…

I think Chelsea will be just fine.

Their back line just isn't up to a title challenge but they have now got a line up settled in.

Palmer, sancho Jackson amd nkunku coming good and madueke is fine if they don't lose thr heads

Gusto and fofana in particular are tragic and sanchez isn't up to it. But to be just 3 places away from a team after all thr chaos isn't too bad. Just a shame about thr wanton waste in the rest of squad.
