The other 10 players that grafted their arse off and had us having waves of attacks that whole second half? Neil was to blame for today and anyone with eyes can see thay

Very frustrating we were well on top second half But we do struggle against big strong teams Silly challenge by Neil He needed support today out muscled quite a lot of the time. Still our good start probably raised expectations too high too early. Think we are playing well but We are a work in progress. Browne and Samed will play a big part this season

Well that was frustrating. Chucked away a point with a clumsy challenge. Second half performance encouraging and Isidor did well for his goal.

Am sure the usual suspects will be on,slagging off Dan Neil etc but I'd rather lose a game playing like we did in the 2nd half than draw playing like the 1st half.

I like Neil but he isn’t a DM like, he’s not mature enough, he’s the weak link atm. I won’t be shocked to see Samed take over very soon

Yes, we lost that game because of Neil’s mistake. That’s the reality. We would have drawn or even won that with the momentum we had, it was all killed by that stupid challenge that literally didn’t need to be made

We started ****e, worked hard to get back in. Only one side was winning, and Neil unnecessarily dives in and gives away a pen. So I would say the fact we didn’t come away with a point is down to that individual error

100%. Anyone could see it was all us that second half and with the momentum a goal was likely coming. That was such a stupid ****ing tackle to even attempt

I agree, it's a team game but that would have definitely finished a draw at least if not for a silly decision. Anyway players make mistakes so we move on to the next game.

The squad already seems to be down to the bare bones. A game like this would have been perfect for Browne for example. Can't complain about the start of the season, just frustrating same as Plymouth. I will be worried about a slide if we fail to beat Derby on Tuesday mind as they are woeful.

I do think something isn't clicking on our left side defensively, we seem to leave massive spaces there and I'm amazed teams aren't targeting it.

100% need to stop playing Rusyn up top. He's just not a striker.

In the second half, yes. Did you watch the game? Even the commentators couldn’t stop talking about how much we were taking control of the game. It was all us, with waves of attacks

Yes? Last 15 of the first half and pretty much all of the second half it was all Sunderland. First goal they scored was poor from a defensive point view but I thought it was a fairly decent away performance overall. If it finished 1-1 we would’ve been happy with the performance and a point of the road knowing we could’ve easily taken all 3.

Did Neil leave Ebosele in 20 yards of space? Nope. Did Neil decide to set the team up to give their wingbacks 30 yards of space every time? Nope. Did Neil scuff multiple free kick opportunities like Roberts did? Nope. Did Neil fail to engage in the press like Isidor did which allowed their CBs to play easy passes into the midfield all first half? Nope.

Neil was very poor and the challenge is horrific but if you think that result is purely on him you are incorrect.

    Yes I watched the game.

The whole team weren't at the levels previously, as soon as Neil made that piss poor challenge I knew what to expect.

The reaction would have been different if it was any other player bar Neil and 09

Some played well and some didn't. However the person who makes the ultimate error carries the can. Plus he has been poor in other games this season and sent off.

That's why people are starting to get annoyed with him. Nothing more, nothing less. He needs to sort his performances out.

Mate. We would have 100% not lost that game if that challenge wasn’t made. That’s just how it is I’m sorry like
