That's good to know Robbie. Not sure if I can make it yet but have put it in my diary just in case. Let us know if the local celebrity accepts your invitation
Personal itinery for tomorrow. Leave Great Missenden by about 10 am and head for home. Stop at Princes Risborough for some fresh chicken and bacon sandwiches from M&S. Head on to Thame for a walk around the cricket ground next to St Mary's Church - fascinating centuries old graveyard headstones. Will have another visit to the grave and headstone of a more recent occupant - the very talented Robin Gibb. On to Wallingford and a stop at the riverside car park on the Thames to eat the sandwiches with some crisps and a can of Coke. Walk the dogs along the riverbank for them to have the usual bodily functions - we sure know how to live! Might then head for Swindon to join the M4 early, or maybe if the mood takes us, head across toward Cirencester and have some late lunch at an excellent eatery we know in Ampney Crucis. Join the M4 at some point and head for home back to reality. This past fortnight in a cottage in deepest Buckinghamshire has been really hard work....
USA - a nation of gun owners and users protected by the Second Amendment to their constitution. That being the case why is it beyond their capabilities to fire a bullet through head of the arrogant, bullying, useless fecker Trump? 2 attempts, both failed. Just as useless as our strikers!!!
Another naughty boy ex-player it seems. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport.../former-cardiff-city-forward-charged-29966149
After the trials and tribulations of the last few months, the start of the reward. Daughter took 18 ewes to market this afternoon and the averaged £165 a head. A similar number to go in the next couple weeks. 30 ewe lambs to overwinter and 25 store / fat lambs to sell, then it'll be time to put the tups in with the remaining ewes.
Way to go! Reaping the rewards of a tough season. Congratulations to your daughter.....and you and the missus!
Just been right along the front from Trecco to the Rest before coming back home for lunch - no sign of Elvis yet.
He’s been In The Ghetto otherwise known as swansea today (he got lost) but looking forward to tomorrow
Has he left the building? Must be confusing as the centre of Elvis activity has left its normal home of the Pavilion during renovation (3 years minimum) and is now centred around Costa del Trecco and the High Tide. Thank God I'm in Zante. No Elvis freaks in sight. P.S. Elvis themed Parkrun along the usual 5k route on Saturday morning. Prizes for the best 3. They usually get some dignatory from Parkrun UK to judge and start the run.
Just had a mini earthquake here on Zante. Locals not bothered. Mrs BfB said it was the first time in years that the ground had moved for her. Don't know what she meant???
Ha! Ha! Mrs Irish and me had that in Zante a few years ago. She thought I was nudging her because she was snoring but the whole room shook. Look out for after shocks especially in the morning. The good thing is that all the building are specially built to withstand tremors.
