Think they key for a lot of them is that they aren't fully up to match fitness, so bringing them on around the hour mark against tired legs maybe the better option just now. I have to say I'm eager to see what Alzate can bring to us.
He was a doubt to be involved at all, so it’s a relief to at least see him on the bench. More surprised with Millar not starting.
Same here, good to see Slater getting a start, but I would have gone with Millar over Omur. Maybe played Omur instead if Mehlem.
I'm not criticising Pandur as he's been good once he got preseason out the way but if Rushworth was too good a signing to turn down why isn't he playing. If he's that good he should be starting even if the player he's replacing hasn't done anything wrong surely the thought must be that he'd do everything right just a little but better. Did Walter not really want him?
Seems to be me? Please elucidate. I had every sympathy for Livermore's family situation, it was an awful thing to have to go through. But many people have gone through similar and does it mean, as a professional sportsman, you go out and get Charlied up, letting down your club and teammates? Not for me.
A really odd line up. I imagine we’re going to see same again, bad first half, good second. Hopefully it pays off because this is a game we should be winning.
Certainly is. Don't want to be annoyed at ****e like Wednesday and Plymouth winning because it drops us down.
Today's crowd.... We're expecting around an attendance in excess of 22,000 today with around 500 or so from South Wales.
I'm not really into replica shirts myself (except for the ones my g'kids wear), saying that - the black and gold looks really smart!
