Seems that way at times, but I suspect we're no different to any other club plus that script hasn't played out on many occasions too.
    We'll win tomorrow.

Appleby was a thoroughbred racehorse compared to this stick of glue in waiting.

I think Sinik has played twice as many games for us than Appleby did.

But there does seem similarities after the latest comments that both are fit but didn't believe they are

It is a cliché definitely, but there surely must be quite an extraordinary pattern when you look at our results in home games we've been expected to win comfortably over the last few years. We almost never win them. Luckily, the ones we do are always against Cardiff.

This isn't very scientific because it's based purely on my own subjective assessment of whether each game qualifies or not, but I looked back over the last two full seasons as well as the start of this one, and I make it 10 wins out of 24 home games against lower-mid-table fodder or worse over that time. Which is better than I thought, but still not very good.

No because someone walking past before you arrive will have taken it.

The last time we wore a non-home kit at home was also against Cardiff in the 21/22 season. It was the blackout Umbro kit.

We wore the Amber away (or was it third) kit against Ipswich last season. But yeah the last time we wore black at home to Cardiff we won!

It's not the last few seasons and the run of the mill lower to mid table teams though. When a team (Peterborough) who's record is played 7 lost 7 turn up at ours and win that's what hurts. It's gone on for years and there's loads of examples

Is Walton Street definitely closed tomorrow? If yes, might have to attempt using public transport to get from east Hull to west Hull, deep joy.

I focused on the last few years because it feels like we've specifically won very few home games against lesser sides over that period.
