@carrowcanario Good, discussion-provoking post. One question. Can you elaborate please on what you have in mind when you say "........ many fans expectations in terms of match day experience are going to be much further down the list of priorities than they have been in the past." Attend any sporting occasion in the US and it is evident that a huge amount of importance is attached to creating a positive "match day experience" for fans. Throw in the now significantly increased likelihood that Carrow Road will be expanded, I don't understand your suggestion that fan satisfaction will be in some way downgraded. And that includes watching the team win football matches. I remember MA saying in his very first interview that, in his experience (presumably referring to the Brewers), what fans wanted most of all is a winning team. Secondly, a point about "developing young players". In one of Ben Knapper's early interviews he made the point that developing players through the academy system is not the only route. The alternative he had in mind is what we are seeing this summer with the arrival of e.g. Cordoba (just turned 23) and Forson (21), young players with much more than a year's loan at a League Two club by way of proving themselves, but with plenty of improvement to come under the guidance of a good coach. Sara (slightly older) can be seen as having provided proof of concept, and Forson's latest interview with the Pink'Un indicates the appeal to the players who come. Given this strategy, I think your concerns about "short term cost to perfomance and results", which might make sense if we were depending just on academy graduates, are overplayed.
Gabe Forsyth has also signed a new contract until 2027. I think it was missed on the TV coverage but he scored form the half way line last night just after the whistle had gone

A J Bridge seems to be impersonating the Invisible Man in these listings of our players. I know he was a last-minute acquisition, but the window closed several days ago and his arrival was announced immediately. Poor lad must wonder what he's done to go unnoticed for so long!
New Head of Goalkeeping in the building…Tony Roberts. He joins from AC Milan and has worked with Knapper previously at Arsenal. Not sure if this is a slightly different role to Paul Clements…wasn’t his title Goalkeeping coach?
