    I've done that a couple of times if I didn't have enough lentils, or isn't thick enough.
    I might have to make this at the weekend now, setting me off now.

    Tonight I am making cauliflower steaks on a bed of romesco sauce topped with garlic/onion and olive oil, with roasted Mediterranean vegetables and roasted crushed new potatoes.
    For afters apple crumble and custard<ok>

    Haha, I am soaking the lentils and barley in the stock from the ham, will sort the veg in the morning and be eating it until monday :)

    Bangers and mash. The best type though.

    Last of my spuds from the garden. Mustard and butter through them.

    The best Lincolnshire sausage ever. From my local butcher, and they come from 15 miles to buy from him.

    Onion amd rosemary gravy, with chopped cherkins in it.

    Lovely.

    Sounds delicious and my mouth is watering as I love a nice M/R rump, only thing that lets it down are the thick cut chips. Don't know what it is but just don't like my chips chunky
