A lot of people, after running out of ways to criticise our current games at the time, focused on the future, and claimed that the next three games:

    Man City
    Man Utd
    Chelsea

Was a horribly awful run of games in which our confidence may be popped and our momentum may grind to a halt. Some even claimed that the results may have been too hard to take, and that it could have been the start of our 'slide'.

Well, all of a sudden, we find ourselves 2/3 of the way through this torrid time, with an out-of-form Chelsea to face in a few days time. What have we seen?

Man City beat us, but we put in a commendable effort, and were never directly outplayed for goals (one Ryan Taylor error and two penalties). However, we lost! Oh no! Did that mean the bubble had burst? Did it balls.

Roll on Man Utd, and we put in the same sort of performance as we always do lately - full of confidence, team spirit and simply good talented players. Despite enduring a barrage towards the end, we held on and ground out a draw.

Now, with Chelsea approaching, we go into it with some confidence. We're at home, and our confidence should be even better after the Man Utd result. Whilst Chelsea are a very good side, and we can't take them for granted, we're capable of stopping any goals and perhaps scoring one or two of our own - setting ourselves up for a draw or even a win.

So after this oh so horrible run of games, some of the toughest of the season, we could have one point, we could have two, or we could even have four. Either way though, that first defeat doesn't seem to have caused us any trouble. We went out at Man Utd, just like always, and aimed to put in a strong performance. Now, after Chelsea at the weekend, we have:

    Norwich (A)
    Swansea (H)
    West Brom (H)
    Bolton (A)

Which takes us up until Boxing Day. Should be fun.

We'll thrash Chelsea then lose against Norwich, scrap a draw against Swansea then beat Brom (only just) before we lose to Bolton. In true 2010/11 fashion.

In all honesty, I think Norwich away could prove to be a tricky match.

We've done fantastically well in these 'horror fixtures'... didn't get 'thrashed', as such, against City, draw against United and who knows what against Chelsea? Can't wait.

The games against the likes of Norwich, Swansea, West Brom and Bolton will determine where we finish in the league, so any points from those three 'horror' games are welcome extras.

Think Norwich away will arguably be a harder test than this Saturday as daft as it sounds!

Think Norwich away is equally as difficult as Chelsea at home, but in a different way.

    Norwich vs Arsenal - Lose
    Norwich vs Blackburn - Draw
Norwich vs West Brom - Lose

Their home wins have been against:

    A poor Sunderland
    Swansea
    QPR

I have seen nothing to date suggesting that facing Norwich at their home ground is anymore difficult than most away games, and certainly nothing to suggest that they're going to be as difficult as Chelsea.

They actually played very well against an in-form Arsenal side, and put in very good displays against Man U and Liverpool. They shouldn't be underestimated.

    Who is underestimating them?

I have no doubt they can play well. I'm just saying that I have yet to see anything which suggests that:

A). It's going to be anymore difficult than most EPL away games (which are always difficult)

B). That they're going to be tougher to beat than Chelsea, who have single players worth the entire Norwich XI combined.

To me, that suggestion sounds more like people underestimating Chelsea.

  11. Spurs is in my opinion a much tougher game than Chelsea at the moment, along with Man Utd.

I think a loss would be a real shame because we're very capable of winning this, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too high. I'd be happy with a draw.
