He's had the same seat for years apparently. If it was paid for by a donor he has to declare it and he hasn't so it's not a freebie. The point is, Starmer acting like he's something special and needing extra policing to sit anywhere else other than a free corporate box when the previous PM was perfectly fine where he was. It's a bit like Animal Farm, looking from one to the other to determine which one is the socialist and which one is the capitalist.

He is, he's the Prime Minister. I'm willing to bet at least 50p that the security arrangements for the PM are not down to their personal preferences. As to their politics, well none of them are the most shining example of what I would consider socialist.
Obviously the sitting PM needs some kind of security but it seems in that regard Starmer thinks he's more special than the last PM and the arrangements he had, was what my comment was meant to convey.
