Read that as owner Riza and thought bloody hell that's going a step further then a little interference in team selection
We look daft when we fully expect to win the home banker time and time again even though it never happens.
Yepp, I recall a game from about 1967...I was only a mere lad. We played Plymouth Argyle at BP. They were rock bottom and adrift by a lot of points. We weren't much better to be honest. They hadn't won away all season so a home win was expected ...Yes, Plymouth won 2-0...I recall trudging out of BP and saying to my dad something on the lines of: 'how do they lose to the likes of Plymouth? Dad' He said ' get used to it son, this is Hull City.' He was right they've been a charity provider for many lost causes for many many seasons. I feel £5 of my hard earned might be going on a Cardiff win, though I'd love the three points for us.
The great curse of Hull City, by far one of the most annoying yet funniest aspects of this basket case club.
The guy who owns Dorking Wanderers is also the manager. He didn't sack himself when they were relegated either.
Aren't they the only club with a spikey haired hipster with a beard on their club badge? please log in to view this image
A lot already look daft by making such bold claims after 5 games played, don’t worry it’s all been documented.
I thought he was clueless before the season started. A half decent half against a **** Stoke team doesn’t change that.
It was a positive upturn in the game. Cardiff will hopefully determine whether it’s a positive change in form rather than a one off. I don’t see anything that shows he has the attributes needed to succeed.
Indeed. I think those 45 minutes on Friday were a real step forward, and that only wasn't down to Stoke being ****. But yeah, we have to sustain that now.
Just passed Walton Street on the train. Looks like the fair is setting up already. I guess that means the car park is closed on Saturday.
This is probably the acid test because it ticks off: a) The stupid home form problem we have. b) The ability to go in front and go on and win. c) keeping a clean sheet d) being braver in possession and moving the ball quicker. e) adapting to a team based on their players and tactics (which will be difficult given that they won't have a proper manager in charge). I'd need to see all those things before I'm convinced we're getting better. But I hope we do, I like Tim.
Not sure I’m at the ground on Thursday so will report back…if I remember! is starting to arrive though
Good picture that, makes it really obvious that there isn't enough space for a sports village, training complex, or whatever it was Acun wanted.
Actually it is closed “Walton Street car park will be closed for the Cardiff City match due to the imminent arrival of Hull Fair ” from the club https://x.com/hullcity/status/1838617212841873758?s=46&t=DAxwWj15XaMBwCrrY9gKFQ
