Yep, Kelly got ripped apart in the first half at LB vs Fulham, Hall was way better. I don't think that went unnoticed.
Whatever they try and do it won't work.. it's a case of hoping to see some kind of positives in the performance. It's all about Everton away.... currently one of the worst sides in the league, so Howe and Newcastle will be feeling it if they lose the next two.
Hall is a far superior player on the evidence so far. Whatever happens defensively people will blame Hall or Kelly though, but never the big slow lump at lcb.
We don't have better options to Burn right now at CB, I haven't seen anything good from Kelly yet, and I'm not keen on him being in the team right now.

Well I'm never happy with him at LB. But he'll better with Hall beside him than with Kelly. Burn obviously ain't first choice, but nor is Kelly. Burn and Krafth are similar ability, and idk about Kelly but he looks bad this far.
