While Haarland gets away with violent conduct charge Didnt see it myself but apparently he threw the ball off the back of.the head of an Arsenal player which is deemed as violent conduct but the FA dont want.to know Had it been a Newcastle.player he would have been Hung, drawn and quartered
I just think that the way the season has gone and how **** we have been. There may be a bounce back. At home and City have injuries. So we should just go for it. Like you said a free hit.
We don't know how to "go for it"! Seriously worried this could end up a cricket score. Can't understand how we fix all the issues for this fixture. Can't defend, can't keep possession well, nervous playing out, no movement up front, isolated striker and more or less everybody - except Barnes - out of sorts or out of form. We have no identity, and Howe doesn't even know his best XI which is bizarre given he's had control over transfers.
Go for it yeah nothing to lose. I personally think they'll lose this and away at Everton and then the situation will suddenly start to become very difficult. If they can get 3-6 points from the next 5 games I'll be very surprised and Howe will have done very well tbh. The **** is about to hit the fan.
I would possibly agree. But I do honestly have a weird feeling that there is a bounce coming. Howe will push for a reaction. He does sometimes get that. And with City having some problems. We may capitalise on it. It’s a free hit so will Howe go for it or will he do a Rafa!
I wonder if the powers that be knew this was coming. They see the inner workings, they've heard Howe asking for contract extensions for Matt Ritchie and Paul Dummett and maybe they've just thought "he's had £400m and is still playing Longstaff ahead of Tonali, no more money for him". Staveley was his protection and was jettisoned sharpish. I suspect there's a lot of questions being asked about Howe keeping the likes of Trippier, Wilson and Almiron in January only to then not even achieve a European spot and leave the club in a PSR nightmare. I still feel last season was a real let down in many ways and the transfer shambles, which he's a part of, isn't going to put him a great light either. Feels to me that they want him gone.
Honestly, he'll try and Rafa this one. He needs to show he can get results and he's not going to do that free-swinging at City. I think we'll even go 5-4-1 or something for this. We're entering the point where it's getting clearer somethings wrong and that typically means manager change is coming.
I sense he's become a bit of a pain in the arse for anything the club wants to do. He's been weaving his little Web of security and Mitchells come along and started pulling it apart so he's getting pissed off. It's going to become clear on Howes future over the next 2 months I think... it's going to determine whether we sign more of his type this January for example.
Everton away just got even tougher because they will like Newcastle have a wave of positivity following a takeover.
We did win the lottery though. PIF. In other news apparently we have donated £15k towards Wimbledons pitch on a crowd funding page.
