You might need to clarify slightly more what 'playing the right way is'. Would love to know what we should learn from Liverpool's trips to Etihad... 4 draws and 4 losses in the last eight seasons. I assumed that 'playing the right way' would mean more passes, more possession, more shots, less yellow cards etc..... no? 2023 - with eleven men, they only managed 40% possession, half the shots of City and triple the yellow cards. Got a 1-1- draw. 2022 - with eleven men, they only managed 32% possession, quarter the shots of City and half the passes. Got battered 4-1 2021 - with eleven men, they only managed 45% possession, half the shots of City, quadruple the yellow cards and 20% fewer passes. Got a 2-2 draw 2020 - held onto a 1-1 draw with 45% possession and a penalty 2019 - battered 4-1 2018 - lost 2-1 2017 - battered 5-0 2016 - held onto a 1-1 draw with 40% possession and a penalty
I like it - we play defensive away and attack at home. Scored 92 EPL goals last Season so you cant really say much. Only 4 teams have scored more than that in EPL History.
This is a moronic comment considering we were 2-1 up in the first half and had 60% possession in the 5 minutes before we went ahead. We had started to gain a foothold of the game prior to the sending off. We don't play like that all the time. We scored 91 PL goals last season, so please educate yourself before coming out with nonsense like this. . Ta.
Also Moronic considering United could only beat us between 1999-2004 by kicking our players and diving.
Don't even get me started on how our 49 game unbeaten streak came to an end. Some of the most corrupt and vile officiating this league has ever seen.
