There’ll be some championing Warnock no doubt and others banging the Nathan Jones drum. Whoever it is should do due diligence on the way the club is run ie the man in charge of this football club from his telephone in Malaysia and his inept lackeys and its strategy/structure for advancing the football club. Then run for the hills if offered it. ps for what it’s worth Rosenior maybe is worth a look - every time I looked his whole team seem to play attacking football. I’m not really quite sure what went wrong there for him.
Wasn't there a row with him and his chairman at Hull about continued selection of their keeper, our former man Allsop? Probably more to it but that made the press. Looks like Rosenior isn't afraid to stand his ground with club owners. Might not go down to well with VT....
So who do you fancy?......................... https://www.bettingodds.com/thesackrace/teams/cardiff-city
3rd favourite Akexandersson is manager at Kortrijk. As for the rest a lot of familiar names on the managerial merry go round. I just don’t have any faith City will choose the right man given they have nobody in the club to make recommendations to Tan. If it’s left to Dalman again then we’re totally screwed.
It will be interesting to see what Riza does. Will he have a different approach than Bulut? Let’s face it, Bulut was stubborn when he chose the wrong line-ups and Riza probably didn’t get much of a say. If he can get a tune out of our players and we actually start scoring some goals and pick up a few points he should be given a run. As for the others, you can stick a pin in because, ultimately they will have to work with our inept board.
Well suppose Riza should be given a chance? It wouldn’t cost Tan more money and who knows he might be the right choice? His team selection and how we get on at Hull may give us more idea of him. There’s 3 games in 8 days before the international break so Tan will see how Riza gets on? But Hudson as caretaker had a decent start but once he was given a contract the ‘bounce’ went flat as results got worse again.
That's a decent shout. "Our" man at Kortrijk may also be a half decent shout too, again you'd expect there to be no additional financial burden from bringing him across, his record is pretty good... We all know though that we're probably going to end up with Big Sam Allardyce
I certainly do clingo - there's a history behind the spelling of my username, but I won't bore you with that right now.
Let's hope Riza has them on the training paddock with electric training collars on their b0ll0cks. Every time they pass backwards they get zapped. Everytime they have the ball at their feet for more than 3 seconds, they get zapped. And line them up with round pegs in round holes. Maybe show them videos of the 18s and 21s to show them how it's done. I'd stay with a 4231. Robertson alongside Ralls. Willock, Colwill and El Ghazi. Then Robinson up top with Reindorf off the bench. Going to have to think about LB with Bagan suspended. Maybe Luey Giles.
Bagan's red card for preventing a goal scoring opportunity will only mean a 1 game ban - I'd expect either Collins or O'Dowda at LB for the Hull game.
Mark Hughes' odds shortening - now clear favourite. Failed Newport manager Rowberry now second favourite - probably because of his previous with City.
