I'm not a Bruce fan he was ****e but there's no getting away from it he did as well as rafa for 2 seasons.

Yeah but the fans moaning and complaining about him rightly remember being bottom of the league and looking like relegation fodder for the majority of the seasons, rather than having belief we were alright.

 

Sure but they never gave him a fair enough or any credit after the season concluded. We all know it was pure hatred that stopped them doing it.

I'm guilty of many things but I did credit Bruce for those two seasons and the cup runs we all said we wanted.

 

The takeover was brewing in background with constant worry that relegation would end it.

 

Indeed and Bruce kept Newcastle up, so he played a part in saving of the club.
