I think I want a new direction because I am bored of what is happening. Last season was a joke with injuries and this season has been poor. We can’t move on if we keep just accepting ****e. Howe is an average manager and he’s not ruthless enough to take us to the next level.
Howe systematically kills the excitement with his increasingly dull transfers and his old fart approach with regards to getting new signings on the pitch together. He's the type of person that would arrive at a party and read a safety manual on a box of fireworks. Intensity is our identity? There isn't one single molecule of intensity in this side.
Not everyone has to be like you and think one way or another. Some people have strong opinions on subjects and others simply don't. Just because you have them doesn't mean everyone else has the same and is afraid to admit it and your some sort of trailblazer. Things might click at the weekend, Howe could change tactics up, anything can happen to sway an opinion from one week to the next for some people. There's a few on here who wanted him changed a year ago. I personally thought that was way too early given everything the man had done for us. A year down the line and the landscape changes a bit. I just don't get why the negativity all the time. And if that is your honest thought process and not just wum bollox then find another sport or hobby to enjoy because you seem to take none out of football presently or for quite some time.
I'm the type of person that hates everything It's just the way I am but in a tongue in cheek way. Even if Newcastle won the champions league I will say it feels hollow and that there's nothing to look fwd to anymore.
I just have issues with his style of management, I think we are repetitive, our transfers are bland, our approach is mind numbing. I cannot stand that our best 11 is so rarely in play, partly injuries partly him just not playing them. Hall is on the hit list, I am still to this day not convinced Howe rates Tonali/really knows how to use him, the Livramento Trippier juggling last season was painful to watch. Refusal to drop a player that cost us like 9 goals in 4 games for the sake of loyalty. Took injuries for Burn to be shifted and Hall to play a game. I just want someone with a bit of fire and excitement. Like I've said plenty, I am in a minority and accept that, time will tell. We have improved under Howe, but we have also spent half a billion quid so, I mean, if we hadn't improved I'd be concerned to say the least.
From League 2 to the Premier in 5 years and becoming an established Premier team for 5 years. You ain't gonna get much mileage from Bournemouth comparisons.
I could live with this except for Harland’s antics after the goal. He might want to consider a touch of humility himself.
I didn’t like it. But the whole game was quite a fiesty affair and to be honest it was good for the PL. The fact remains that as a spectacle we need Arsenal and Liverpool to push City all the way. Just wish they would allow us to challenge.
His level now yes he is 34 or something now isn’t he. Hes done ok for himself considering he had one good season for us.
The draw should be interesting later, if we beat Wimbledon we'll potentially face Chelsea, City, Scousers, Villa or Arse away, obviously.
