Fans who can’t get to away games will be glad of the chance to see their team. League 1 and 2 ones don’t see their team much, Obviously home fans who go won’t appreciate silly kick off times. For me 3pm on a Saturday is the only time for a kick off on a weekend. Unfortunately things have changed and you can’t put the genie back in the bottle,
They will always make plenty as on top of the subscriptions there is all the advertising during breaks they make money from. Not to mention all the people overseas paying. The actual real fans who go to games are the ones who get no consideration.
closing off any view point due to pre conceived notions is never the ticket, will boldy state my points but happy to see the other side we all get it wrong. i thought the two of them changed things alongside Millar, that said I’d like to see a couple of the new boys see what they are about purely because it’s fun. Beat Cardiff and things are on the up UTT
Stoke City boss Narcis Pelach told BBC Sport: "I was happy with the first half hour. We scored a nice goal from a set play. "But we have to make the most of our chances and then we made mistakes. "The first goal should not have been allowed. It was offside before the penalty was given. The second goal was our mistake. "But I did not think it was that bad. Our heads went down after the third goal went in." Hull City boss Tim Walter told BBC Sport: "After conceding the goal, we stayed bright and showed a lot of courage and found better solutions. "We have to make the most of the chances we created. It’s the hardest thing in football to do. Such a small goal on such a big pitch. "I was actually happy with how we played last week. Now we’ve had more time together and that has helped a lot. "It has helped the feeling in the group but we have always believed in ourselves. It’s all about mentality – and having the confidence."
Narcis? Is that short for Narcissistic? 1st goal shouldn’t have stood? WTF was he on about? It was a double penalty shout.
When he came on yesterday he was harassing Stoke defenders in the press. Something Mehlem and Omur weren’t doing. I’m hoping Tim sees this and realises that his favourite in Mehlem needs dropping alongside Omur. They’ve both been poor. Even Simons in his stint gave the midfield more control.
thing is, a lot of people have either a dodgy stick or a VPN subscription and can watch games home or away at whatever time so for many sky is far from a necessity in being able to watch a game you can't get to. I kind of think it'd be better for clubs if they got rid of the sat watershed and allowed teams to sell away game season tickets to watch on ifollow, can't think for a moment that it'd stop people going to away games as for most it's about the day and experience rather than purely access to watch it
Been a pattern in most games this season where the starting DM has a weak game, then whoever comes on when we need to chase the game looks much better by comparison
Haven't been to a game there for a few years, do you still get given a pocketful of loose change there?
Anyone know what has happened to Puerta he has not played one minute since we signed him and was not even on the bench yesterday?
He's not played for a long time and he's a youngster adapting to a new country and new league. We've got numbers now and there's only so many spots on the bench. So who does he get on the bench instead of?
Seems strange not to give him 5-10 minutes off the bench, how else does he adapt? Zambrano seems to have been able to adapt much quicker to the point he's been able to start games?
Yeah it is strange. Particularly as Puerta has some experience of European football, whereas Zambrano doesn't/didn't.
