Great news, obviously Short doesn't want to hang about.

Bet there'll be a few player cacking themselves now, should see a drastic improvement in performances.

He was in the Stands at the Emirates at the weekend taking notes, wonder if we're after Van Persie <doh>

I hope your chairman has deep pockets because O Neil likes to spend spend spend! Isn't the lack of funds the reason he walked away from Villa even though he had been given money and wasyed it on duds. If no funds are forthcoming and things go wrong O Neil will blame the fact that he has been given no money. A big mistake to appoint him in my view. Hughes would have been better.

By filth I assume you mean your superior brothers.

Can't understand the excitement about this to be honest. From 1995 to 2010 he won the league cup a couple of times with Leicester, won the first division play offs, done nothing of note at Villa. Don't mention his success (!) at Celtic. Anybody could have done that.

Wouldn't you think, during the talks to get O'Neil all this would have been discussed. Also, Short is a very rich man, who at the time he took over our club, clearly set out his ambitions for SAFC. I am confident Short will come through with whatever O'Neil needs to make this club a success.

I'm not mate. Honestly, I dont WUM. I just remember the dull football they played at Villa. No jealousy at all.
