I cannot recall Carrick saying Dan Neils wasnt a sending off last season. Fk it we got away with one although personally I didnt think it was a red.

Just finished watching the full 90, we are a bloody good, well drilled team with talented individuals throughout.

I found it difficult to assess the game yesterday because of my nerves at the possession we conceded and the amount of the ball Middlesbrough had, but watching it today with the benefit of knowing the score, our game plan was obvious and made Boro look like a team of plodders. There were brilliant performances throughout our team, the back four hardly put a foot wrong and the work that the central midfield, wide men and Mayenda got through was incredible. I get that it’s easy to say that after a win. but to limit a team to one shot on target and only one clear cut chance shows that Le Bris’ game plan worked a treat.

I thought Hume’s tackle was poor but I also felt that the way Latte Lath came in was dodgy, jumping in with a two footed block.

Our shape in and out of possession is interesting, 4-3-3 with the ball and 4-4-2 without. Out of possession Roberts and Mundle tucking in and Rigg joining Mayenda for the initial press.

It’s almost impossible for me to pick a MotM, it could have been anyone of half a dozen but personally Jobe stood out. He covered every blade of grass, made some great tackles and turned defence into attack so easily.

As an aside. every day is a school day for me, at the game I couldn’t understand why Hume and/or Mepham were allowed to continue without leaving the field after treatment when they collided with each other. I read the Laws of the Game today and if it’s a clash between team mates they don’t have to. I never knew that.

I'd rather we were fearful of him being poached than wanting him sacked! Same with players really, if they are getting interest from clubs above us then we are doing something right

No surprises there. Poor side and the fans seem to be supportive of the change but not expecting any improvements

Not really. If it happens it will be at the end of the season and will mean we've been promoted

Thankfully most of the crowd have grasped that this isn't the 1970's when we had to 'get into them and f*ck them up' <laugh>

Yesterday, most people appreciated what we were doing and there were only a few shouts of 'push out' and 'get the ball upfield' ...

... it's not easy because RLB is changing tactics almost every game, we expected a high press but obviously so did Boro.

In the first minute their defence had the ball and were clueless when we stood watching them stand on the ball <laugh>

Not a red for me, yellow at most. Possibly the mythical orange if you wanna go there.

Just watched the full 90 and Danny was definite on yellow and not red for Trai.
I wish they could flash up who has been booked on the big screens. I thought Rigg and not Roberts was booked first half.

Had a good look at Hume’s tackle and don’t think it’s red, very hard tackle mind, but as someone pointed out when you look closely Latte goes in double footed and half hearted

From the moment he realised he wasn't winning the ball he decided to make the tackle look as bad as possible ...

... he's a dirty little cheat whereas Hume is honest and goes in to win the ball, not hurt the man.

Any can anyone tell me why Clarke wasn't booked for the tackle when Mundle hit the post?

If it was inside the area it would've been a yellow for certain.

Good point mate, same confusion when Neil was sent off against Burnley.
