On a plus point. We are starting to look like a team now that can compete. Second plus point thats 2 games undefeated and the third plus point which hasn't happened yet but if we beat Bournemouth then that's a decent little run.
I'm in Chapel. First season ticket in years; couldn’t get Northam cos it was sold out. Can't hear a thing out of Northam.
Weird. Must be acoustics as I barely heard the Ipswich fans at all from our goal til the 80th minute and in the second half I reckon there was never longer than a 5 minute period without singing in my area. I think the stadium layout move has had a negative impact tbh. The stand doesn't often sing in unison so the kingsland side is often singing a different song to the itchen side. Forgot you'd moved back home tbf. How are you finding it? Pretty cold I'm guessing!
For balance, I sit Kingsland. Pretty central but slightly closer to Northam than Chapel but near enough equal distance to the away and Northam, and I thought the Northam were decent second half and I barely heard anything from the away.
I detest all this we’re down & it’s all about Championship next year. What a load of ****ing ****e. We made it to the PL & whether we wanted it or not, we’re here & we need to make a fight of it. Get a few results right & we could stay up. How the **** we do, I have no idea but I don’t get paid **** loads of £ every week to do that. RM & HIS team need to.
To all those who think I'm a curse, I'd like to point out I stuck Dibling in my fantasy team this week AND had him down as home goal scorer in the prediction league. So **** the lot of you!
Yeah all 22k fans are my responsibility I couldn't get a ST in Northam as it was sold out. It is the stand for singing, so why did so many people buy a ST to not not sing?
Might be worth asking the club if they can relocate if it's a single seat. They hold some for general sale so may be accommodating if you get the right person. I overheard people discussing moving out of it too so may get lucky. I'm thinking of moving mine tbh as I'm in a terrible place for cokehead ****ers.
Didn’t say that. You were moaning about the Northam. I was just asking about the effort & atmosphere from around you & further?
Mate, I love being back! Seeing the city in a whole new light now. Hated it in my twenties. But now (in my 40s) I really appreciate it. Its not a bad place to be honest. I know you hate it. But it's not all bad!
I go with my old man and his mates. All old gits. I heard last season Chapel was getting a bit more lively, so thought it would be alright. Absolute lies though.
Yeah think so. Nothing outstanding but ok. Other pep’s thoughts? Best by a mile tho; Dibling, Adam, Suga & Ramsdale.
