Free kick on the edge and Latte Lath one vs one last kick of the half. Borges flashed a cross right across the back four as well.

Like I said we tightened it up and snuffed them out second half but I thought they arguably threatened more than us first.

We scored, should have had a pen
At the very least it's an even half

Rigg could bring in £40m alone, crazy the value in the squad considering the outlay to put it together

Yeah he did, but I reckon Cirkin worked out his game after 5 mins of Doak coming on, and he did nothing afterward. Sorry if it’s been repeated, but it’s worth highlighting how good Cirkin is

Well I quite enjoyed that. Didn't think they would score if we were still playing now. Denied them space to play through us or get behind us. Even first half but thought the goal was brilliant quick thinking from a star in the making. What a talent. Great to see Roberts enjoying his football again and mundle full of confidence. Back 4 very solid again Hume a tad fortunate but I thought yellow initially. Strong but feet and studs down. Mepham cracking debut but I thought Jobe was outstanding particularly 2nd half when they started to push us back. Terrific performance all over the park he was breaking play up controlling our attacks and just generally showing what a huge talent we have on our hands. Looking forward to Watford. Oh really enjoyed the pre match display of flags. Looked great with them spread around the ground. Well done to organisers. Happy Saturday night folks. :1980_boogie_down:

What an amazing win for the lads, personally think we were a tad like a wounded animal in that first half, didnt like the tactic to allow them the ball without any sort of press.

You can say with gusto they didn't score, but they had really good chances, that first was a sitter from I think Conway?

Hume's tackle was poor, I've seen reds given, I've seen yellows given. But it weren't malicious, just hard and late.

Mayenda looks so sharp when he gets his chance to show something, quick and light but strong. I felt he was isolated for long periods, it's a shame because he's shown he can score, he's gagging for that next goal. I was so glad he didn't bring him off, my first sub was always Wilson Isidor, couldn't even think of bringing Mundle off, so Roberts was the right call.

Rigg's goal was stupidly audacious, some boy.

Just missed that press at times, personally.

When you give me performances like that against Burnley n' Sheff, I get my hopes up and I want more!

I do appreciate the class of Le Bris though, second half it made a lot more sense. As has been said, centre halves were class.

Last season's game we, in my opinion, edged the first half and were slightly the better side up until half time. The sending off changed all that, and I still believe that without that we certainly wouldn't have lost and more likely would have won. But what has been forgotten is that there was a lot of niggliness and petty fouling by them in that game. Remember, Neil was sent off for shouting "that's a ****ing foul, ref" (and I accept he was lucky not to have been sent off for that foul earlier in the half). That Aussie **** of a ref let them get away with murder that game and I think they tried the same today. I noticed a few times on TV some off the ball shoves and pushes and some late, niggly fouls. A bit pettiness to goad us into losing our heads and shape, force us into being rash at times and maybe bully us, with the hope that we'd get frustrated if we didn't have much ball and leave ourselves open. It might have worked to a degree in the first half where they nay have edged it, but in truth we were the better team, particularly in the second half. They barely created anything with only one shot on target in the whole game. Patterson had almost nothing to do (especially in the second half) other than deal with a few crosses and corners. As others have said, you can have all the possession in the world, but it doesn't matter at all if you go nowt with it. Boro lacked imagination and creativity and just seemed to want to pass the ball amongst themselves, hoping we'd make a mistake and leave ourselves open.
