There’s something clearly wrong with the club. The players aren’t believing in it, that’s abundantly clear. The manager may be dead man walking already af this point. That’s not meant as OTT for one defeat; but everybody has to see that somethings really wrong.
A cult member is a person who changes the narrative to suits one’s purpose. They pick and chose what truths they want and claim that faith is a thing that influences reality.
I think for me it’s the tactics, it seems like there isn’t any gameplan. The last 2 seasons I’ve loved watching us, the high intensity, the pressure. But it’s all gone. We’re relying on bits of individual quality, but that can’t happen every game. Sometimes you don’t even get that in 3 games. We need to work as a team.
I said cult and that ruffled your feathers... not sure about % but I will probably now use those statistics just for fun. It's fine you can give it the bedwetter stuff, but you can't get touchy when I say cult without being rimmed surely ?
It's all gone so what's changed? Howe, the manager of the High intensity for the past two years or the new fitness guru??
I like it when we are reminiscent of the bad old days under Steve Bruce (yes I went there) despite us having only lost one game all season
This. The new fitness guru must have something to do with the intensity. The fact is the fitness levels last season were higher but we got lots of injuries. This season seems different we seem directionless. I honestly think Howe needs replaced. But hey I’m going to get pelted because he seems bullet proof.
There's a change in style.... I think I made a thread suggesting this may happen due to the injuries.
Or maybe he needs a bit more time to figure out a whole new direction with the players he bought for his original direction that was highly successful?
