The past month we've been using our eyes while others were in denial. Howe still has plenty credit in the bank, but all it takes is 3 or 4 losses in this league and any manager is in trouble.
There is a middle ground that lies somewhere between the "happy clappers" and the "bedwetters". Those who aren't happy with how things have looked over the past few games and are concerned by the overall performances irrespective of having achieved good results. Today is not a surprise, Fulham are a decent midtable side and playing away to them is a tough fixture that we cannot expect to just turn up and win. I would have had it down for a draw with them more likely to win than us (as did the bookmakers), as such a loss isn't exactly a shock. The performance is a concern but nothing different to what we've seen so far, I've also seen us improve in ever game the longer they've gone on so we shall see how it plays out. The level of over-reaction just feels entitled to me, the idea that little old Fulham could possibly deign to outplay us or beat us, the horror! We need to play better but I think we just come across as entitled and arrogant at times tbh.
Haven't been watching as am out but some of the comments on here are so OTT it's either what Hazza is saying or half the people on here aren't past puberty yet.
Oh the performance in the first half was pretty bad in fairness, they're right about that. Not over yet though I guess.
First half was the worst under Howe by a country mile. It was that bad. second half we have picked up a little bit.
