Gosh we're hanging on... Good going forwards but not tight enough and too many suicidal passes.

 

That goal was football porn. No other way to describe it. Brilliant through ball by Lallana, great run and finish by Dibling.

Oh and THB has his mojo back. Been a rock at the back.

 

All of the late pressure came as a result of Ramsdale’s poor pass into the midfield that led to corner after corner.

 

We got better for a spell but the last 5 minutes was all them again. When we do play patiently we actually look decent. We need to get on top second half. I actually think BBD's presence might help a bit...

 

You could argue his poor pass comes because we were becoming more and more negative and giving him the ball with less and less space to play it out from.

But he does have to go high and long in that situation.

Think Archer has been decent today actually. Love Fernandes and Dibling.

 

Dibling is making huge waves but I think Fernandes will be the foundation of the team this season. If we stay up, he will have played a huge part.

Thought we were actually second best for large parts of that bar a 15 minute period after the Archer shot. Our passing has been sloppy and Ipswich have been very wasteful.

But we lead! We have to see this through now, a massive 45 minutes coming up.

Lallana's leadership has been very evident from the stands. Trying to push us forward and absolutely berated Taylor after his unnecessary yellow.

I have hope that maybe we keep them longer but certainly, with the current market value of young players, we get more than 100m!

That was true for the first 30 and the last 5 but there was a 10 minute spell where we very dominant. We need to build on that.
