Southampton haven’t looked great, but they’ll be up for this one. I fancy our chances - McKenna had Martin’s number last season as we got the double win against the Saints. I think we’ll win 1-0.
Southampton won't roll over as easily in this one, they will be in trouble all season but they'll bring their A game on Saturday. It won't quite be enough and it'll finish 2-0 Town with a header from a set piece and a late goal from Jack Clarke to put a gloss on a tight victory.

But Phillips is out. Shame as feel he needs as much game time as he can to get up to speed, only seen glimpses of what he's capable of so far, some poor moments, some good. Have to say I know I'm a fan but surprised Woolfenden hasn't come back in, he was superb against Fulham and whilst defence held up well against Brighton felt we missed him drawing the press in that match
Presume Phillips is injured. Time for Cajuste to show us what he can do. He has our old pal Downes to handle. Must say, that is a strong bench. Chappers, Hirst, Oddbins & Clarke to come on. I am excited about this!
