If Walter has a style of play that depends on the keeper then he needs to be playing his keeper, not playing the one he inherited even if he has made some good saves.

Rushworth mentioned in his interview upon signing that Tim wants him to vary the distribution, play short obviously but also pass it long to attackers in space when we've drawn on the press. Allsop did the same thing a lot last season but I can't recall Pandur doing it at all. Maybe that's not his game and that's why Rushworth was so important to sign.

i do think pandurs weakness is his passing
i think it does lead to us being under more pressure than needed, ofcourse its more than just him, but i think rushworth is known for his ability with the ball at his feet amongst others

Great opportunity for Walter to get his first win tonight. If he's as good as the owner states we should have plugged the counter attack vulnerability in our defence. If not then he's got to go I think. Apologies if I'm not replying to people am very busy currently, even if I don't agree with people I respect all Tigers fans views we all want the best for City

Pandur isn't giving out the kind of dominant vibes you want from the goalie and although I think he's actually done his job ok you want somebody in there that's going to help the team more if that makes sense.

Hughes is out injured for four to six weeks, recovering from his appendix operation.

A dirtier (cleverer) team would have slid in, taken moore out and taken the yellow.....

2 right backs? Back to the old square pegs, round holes & then everyone slates the manager.
    Is Hughes fit now?
I think Omur is likeliest to be dropped.

Drameh isn't just a right back though is he?

Played left back before and it is possible that a player can play 2 positions. Plus he looked better there than Giles last week.

And no, Hughes has just had his appendix out. So less than a week after invasive surgery he was never likely to be fit. 4 weeks at least.

Yes he's fit to start according to Walter but was just not in due to selection last week.

When Drameh signed I just read he was a RB, don’t know anything of him, I do know Coyle’s played LB before though, did ok, but not an LB though!

Didn't Drameh come on for Giles v. Blunts at left back and did a sound job defending and getting forward. A good few posters had him MOTM....After that display he's a shoe-in for the left back spot, though tbf I didn't think Giles did a lot wrong. No idea if Hughes is fit. If yes, get him in asap. EDIT....Just read he's out for a while....FFS what is it with us and injured players?
PS...If Omur is out we have little creativity. Mehlem creates little.

If Omur is dropped it would be for Palmer, who is also creative and provides more end product than Omur's single assist for us in his time here so far. Palmer had a goal and 2 assists in all comps this season before he left Coventry to come here.

And as is widely reported, Hughes has just undergone appendix surgery and will be out for at least 4 weeks. As Walter re-stated in his presser.

It's not so much an injury, it's appendicitis.

Certainly a doubt. He was training though according to Walter.
