<peacedove>Very good reaction in Europe yesterday and excellent result too. At home to Bournemouth on Saturday and we expect a good reaction to Nottingham Forest defeat. Four games we are playing catch up already.

We must win this to put pressure on Manchester City and Arsenal playing on Sunday .

The Premier League have confirmed that Tony Harrington will referee the tie, with Marc Perry and Derek Eaton assistants and Bobby Madley as fourth official.

Graham Scott will be in the VAR booth supported by Sian Massey-Ellis.

I think this will be a tougher challenge and we need to do our business and stop the arrogance.

Comments like only one side wanted to play smack of it.

Bournemouth results, aside from letting Everton get 2 goals have been "hard to beat" so we need to be prepared to fight for the points

    Let's see how it goes.

    I imagine

    Alisson
    Trent konate vvd robbo
    Gravenberch macallister
    Salah Szoboszlai Diaz
    Jota

We will see mass changes then fir the league cup (or should)

    Team for West ham

    Kelleher
    Bradley quansah gomez tsimikas
    Endo jones
    Chiesa nyoni gakpo
    Nunez

That's possible for West ham league cup tie right now but will slot do it.

I'm sure he will play the firsts v bournemouth.

I see Anthony Taylor has been pulled from duty this weekend due to online abuse received after the Bournemouth cheslea game.last weekend.

14 yellow cards So 6 for Bournemouth and their manager said it wasn't a physical game at all.

So we better be taking note that this is going to be a dust up this weekend.

    CHRIS SUTTON,'S PREDICTION. HOME WIN.

I am back at Anfield for Radio 5 Live for this game, after watching Liverpool lose there to Nottingham Forest last week.

Arne Slot's side responded well to win at AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday but this is an interesting game and I don't think the Reds will have things all their own way.

Slot has got to marry his side's journey in Europe with their Premier League campaign and that is not easy to navigate. Too many of their players were below their best against Forest, especially Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool's midfield were not quite there either, and they were really wasteful with their final ball, although at the same time you have to recognise that Forest were superb.

Bournemouth are an awkward team under Andoni Iraola and have deserved more than they have got from a couple of games already this season.

I don't think this is going to be easy for Liverpool but I am not going to base this prediction on what I saw from them last week. Instead, because their response was good in Milan, I am going to say they can't play as badly as they did against Forest.

Therefore, I think they will create chances and I am backing them to be a bit more ruthless, and take them.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-0

James's prediction: Liverpool have got an amazing squad, and they play great football. Manchester City are going to win the league again but I am backing Liverpool to push them really close. 3-1

JONES KNOWS BEST PREDICTION. HOME WIN

Liverpool vs Bournemouth, Saturday 3pm - PLAY SUPER 6 TO WIN £250,000!
Andoni Iraola is going places as a manager but backing this Bournemouth team to beat a top-six side has become an expensive pastime.

They have now failed to win any of 12 Premier League games vs last season's top-six - winning just two points from a possible 36. They will head to Anfield as lively outsiders and make life fiddly for Arne Slot's men but they are impossible to fancy to get a result - even if the 8/1 for an away win sounds juicy.

Finding a way to get Liverpool onside is tricky at such prohibitive odds, but adding Dominik Szoboszlai to score into the mix is an interesting tactic at 9/2 with Sky Bet.

He netted his first goal of the season in midweek vs AC Milan and was genuinely outstanding with his all-around game in joining the front three. He's had 10 shots in five games under Slot and I'm expecting his goal output to increase this season.

    SCORE PREDICTION: 3-1

It's about time I shouted told you.

Did I comment about alisson after internationals or not folks?

Last time his injury came in the league gsme right after returning.

Now we have flown to Italy and played him twice and he's got a hamstring.

    There's a pattern here.

Liverpool make four changes for today's Anfield encounter with AFC Bournemouth.

Caoimhin Kelleher replaces the injured Alisson Becker in goal, while Andy Robertson returns in defence.

Meanwhile, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez come into the Reds' XI, with Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas making way.

Federico Chiesa is named among the substitutes.

Liverpool: Kelleher, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah, Robertson, Gravenberch, Alexander-Arnold.

Subs: Jaros, Gomez, Chiesa, Jones, Gakpo, Jota, Tsimikas, Quansah, Bradley.

Bench is looking strong, just midfield a bit light with Elliott injured and Endo absent.

No reports of it. Think it seems that slot doesn’t really fancy him. Made 2 sub appearances totalling about 5 minutes.
