I played to a fair standard at one point in my life (late 20s early 30s) - South Midlands league on a Saturday - and would then drive up to Leicester (80-90) miles on a Sunday to play in the same Sunday league team as 4 of my cousins - good standard too, but predominantly just for the craic ...
One particular stag do involved 30 of us playing 5-a-side at Star City in Birmingham all morning before going out on the town that afternoon/ evening ...
These pampered pooches don't play for the sheer joy ... it's all about the dollar...

He had all the talent in the world but was more interested in pretending he was Biggie Smalls so I’m not surprised. Arsenal yoof- genuinely incredible ability the rare occasions he was arsed.
Dealing weed on the side now just to make ends meet some of them.
Maybe a doorstep round of applause from us all every Saturday at 3pm would help.

Money in Scottish football is paltry ... was why we managed to get Brendan Rodgers from Celtic - commenting the he was "looking for a club with more ambition" - he'd just lost out on signing John McGinn (to Villa) as Celtic baulked at the couple of million Rodgers needed to sign him ...
Funniest thing was how enraged Chris Sutton was with us and Rodgers - has tipped us to lose every game since - had egg (more like an omelette) on his mush when we won the FA Cup ... but had a real smug smile when we were relegated last - twat .

I hate that prick.
We paid £10m for him which back in 1999 was a record signing for us and he turned out to be a useless pile of ****e.
He did score an awesome header for us in a 5-0 drubbing of Man United at the Bridge that season, but that was about it

Comes across as such a surly **** on the radio too. Seems to hate football though any player who was **** at Chelsea I can’t help but like. Was superb when Blackburn won the league before football became **** and the wokes banned contact.
