I couldn't possibly comment phil...........oh go on then. So two scousers out of work. What will the world come to next. Thats both Lowe and Schumacher out of work. Clearly greener to stay where they were wasn't it. If they had then both probably could have had a job for life with Schumacher the most likely for that.
You do wonder why some of these managers make the decisions they do. Ainsworth hasn't managed since QPR & unless the Reading takeover takes place I can not see him manageing again at 50 he's probably too old for most clubs now, who all want younger managers
It's a guess, I think he probably lives up the North, he played for Newcastle for I think about 5 years then managed Gateshead, & when you look at Franchise's position he wasn't exactly setting League 2 alight
The Crawley has gone to join Franchise that's his career over No 9, & BBC Sport has a report that Gareth Ainsworth has applied for the Hearts job in Scotland he must be getting desperate
Yes that does sound very much like desperation. As far as I know he has never had any connection with them at all
By all accounts, he would only have left Wycombe for the job at QPR, Preston or Blackburn (emotional connections with all). Can't see it working out at Hearts (heart won't be in it)
It's like myself & Greeny have said before over Schumacher had a job for life at Plymouth, the same with Ainsworth, & Evans is another one still in a job at the moment you get another 7 games like they have just had at Rotherham. My point is very few managers seem to be able to replicate the success they have had when they move on to so called bigger & better things. It can be a very expensive mistake.
I would guess that Schumaker got a 7 figure payoff from Stoke given he had a 3 year contract. Sort of cushions the blow a bit I'd guess. It's more likely he is being made to sleep in the shed by his wife and kids. They absolutely loved it down here and on good authority were gutted when they had to leave. There may be a couple of obvious ones on the horizon soon phil. ManU (spit) is imminent after today and lets face it Stoke won't keep theirs long if he has a couple more losses.
GA isn't even quoted for the Hearts job. Does that mean it was a false rumour or that he was turned down?
Burton have sacked head coach Mark Robinson following a run of 7 consecutive defeats in all competitions. No 10.
Mark Kennedy has been sacked by Swindon which is no surprise at they have been cr*p this season. No 10. Ian Holloway has been appointed to replace him which was quick.
