No, they’re not. There is no such bill currently before Parliament. The government has said it would not try to prevent a free vote if a private members bill were to make it onto the legislative program. I realise you’re currently very emotional, and not taking the return of Labour to power at all well, but please try not to flip out every time you get a notification specifically designed by the right wing media to wind you up.
in essence these rules have been around for decades but they have been tightened up due to the massive growth in log burners and the danger from particulates they create particularly if the wrong wood is used or the burner isn't used correctly or is faulty
Me losing the plot This is me forwarding on a post from someone I know who hated the tories in general and Boris in particular who celebrated when the tories got trashed, that did not last long did it, mind you he does live in Scotland now so perhaps he has two agendas on the go I only post these to amuse the like of brb and wind up the likes of you Maybe you should check to see if you are losing the plot
It's ok mate, I know the story about burning logs is true, it was being discussed some years back, and a few have burners on here. Doubt we will see anyone be checked outside of a main city though. I aint got an issue with them personally, humans burn wood, it's what they do and have done for centuries, well to be a bit more accurate probably about 1.9 million years... please log in to view this image
Where did you get that photo of Archers I watched the Laura Kunsburg show on Sunday, she will be accused of being a Tory now Tory MPs relaxed and happy to discuss what they need to do in the future Then our Foreign Secretary squirming in his chair like it was the real Spiky Chair (I have seen one of those, how can people invent things like that) desperately trying to avoid telling the truth, and Laura smiling for a change
Always thought I would be for it, but now having a parent in a care home with advanced dementia I’ve changed my mind. Despite not recognising family and not being able to hold a conversation, she seems really happy. It’s made me rethink the whole assisted dying argument.
they wouldn't be eligible anyway but i just feel if passed once the principle is established there will be a creeping expansion and for an obvious example none of the MP's who supported the original abortion bill ever intended it to become a normalised form of contraception .
under the proposed legislation they not only need to consent but also of sane mind so you're fishing in a small pool
Now? Kuenssberg has always been a dyed-in-the-wool uber Tory. Her Bobbysox, sycophantic, overt, teeny-bopper worship of Boris was nauseating. I will give her this though - she's now realised that her principal role as a BBC political correspondent is to hold the government to account, not so much the Opposition. It has only taken her 14 years, like. I wonder what changed to make her see the light?
I think the very fact that someone has dementia would exclude them from assisted dying as they need to give informed consent. as I understand it anyway.
I still cannot believe he walked out of court head held high as if he'd done nowt wrong. The fooking guy was paying money to be sent images of kids, as young as seven - the media were even trying to play it down as though he inadvetently opened an image....I'm like hang on here, he was paying a convicted ****phile, what sort of images did he think he was going to get, sheep grazing in a field or something ffs. He only got caught I think because of someones parents whose lad he was grooming, grassed him up. They literally had to fight the establishment to get him prosecuted. The BBC just don't seem to learn and yet still nothing is done. The fooking silence is deafening.
the grooming allegation the police decided was a lot of fuss about nothing but those checks brought this to light .
I just can't get my head round it, everyone was trying to play it down, the police, the bbc, even the media at times, oh he's not well, he's sectioned himself and some balls about his arteries and health should be taken in consideration. I'm not sure how difficult this is for people, he didn't just stumble on this crime or crimes, he was paying for it, which was the whole parents point in the first place, we've learned nothing from Saville, absolutely nothing. Well we have, the establishment have chosen not to.
can't remember exactly but think it was 12 months suspended which is why before Edwards was sentenced it was assumed he would get a suspended sentence as it would make no sense to give him a more severe penalty
Unbelievable and this was a guy that was transmitting indecent images of kids for cash. Yet those climate change people for sitting on a gantry on the M25, which actually harms no one get five years prison, it's the cops that stop the traffic not them. The sentencing is arse about face.
