You are all talking bubbles and here is why - stunning has nothing to do with humane slaughter, its all to do with increased productivity - 1978 german study and 2005 study by th eFrench ministry of food and agriculture proved that stunning actually induces MORE stress on the animal than religious slaughter. However it looks better on the eye -some forms of stunning have recently become banned - Temple gardin a leading American vet/animal rights person advocates religious slaughter as more ethical and better for the animal - there is a vegan society (forget name) who believe all slaughter of animals is wrong but if they were forced inyto a corner then they would take religious slaughter over stunning and I would like to say that contrary to some opinions stunned meat cannot be halal meat, and the reason for this is that during halal process undue stress and suffering should not be placed upon the animal. Stunning does this making it void Also there are ****s who dont do ANY slaughter properly, they should be shot in front of their families (oops thats been done)

Not really Sam. Implying that meat-eaters should have no concern for the way animals are killed is like saying boxing fans should be happy to watch bare-knuckle boxing.
