I just came across this on the official NUFC website.

    http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111201/pic-special-harper-back-for-blues-test_2281670_2534002?

The title struck me as being a bit strange, then something about the pictures and then the text underneath made me become a bit nervous!

Pic Special: Harper Back For Blues Test

That's the heading, which is fair enough. He has returned from his loan spell and may be in the squad, but I wouldn't personally have it as the main heading. As he is clearly number 2 to Timmy Krul.

Then I looked through the pictures and there was about 5 of Harper and no sign of Krul, so I started to worry that he might be injured.

I then read the following underneath the pictures...

Please tell me I am being paranoid and that there is proof that Tim Krul is not injured and will star in goal as per normal. I like Harper but he is about half the player Krul is!

I'm assuming he'll just be on the bench!

I would assume this is referring to the club's test against Chelsea rather than Harper's individual one.

I hope to God you're being paranoid, as Krul has been our best performer this season - in a team of very good performers.

Think he will be on the bench. There's a pic with best and lover(?) having a bit of a dance and the keeper in the background thats not Harper. Harper is wearing a jacket with no sponsor across the middle, The blurry one is wearing a training top with N.Rock on.

    You are being paranoid.

However, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT all out to get you!!

Krul will be fit. Lets not start knocking Harper though, "half the player" is very insulting and very inaccurate. He's a very good keeper in his own right, and has never let us down. If we had to go in against Chelsea with him, I wouldn't be worried at all.

Not knocking Harper at all mate. I just genuinely rate Krul extremely highly and I feel much safer with Krul between the sticks.

The problem with Harper is that although he doesn't make many mistakes...how many top class saves does he make? Not many in my opinion. He is very consistent and very reliable. But the difference between being a good keeper and being a top class keeper is being able to make those world class saves that win you points. Given had/still has that and Krul has it. Sadly, in my opinion, Harper doesn't and that's what we were missing when Harper was in goal.
