What we need however is a law that states that those who have been granted such will immediately forfeit that asylum if convicted of a 'serious' offence... and rather than being a burden to UK taxpayers in a UK prison will instead be deported to their country of origin on the first flight out instead ...
That's very sensible and exactly how it should be. I'd be surprised if many people objected to such a plan.
