Actually think Spurs will get something. Both Rice and Odegaard being out means a big hole in their midfield.

Possibly and it's a bad result for Newcastle if that happens, so I'm beginning to agree.

Well that’s either utmost confidence or downright stupidity by Arsenal. Going in to a game of this magnitude with only 9 players.

Same. This is Spurs best opportunity to beat them.

Also if Arsenal do lose the title is over.

The title was over before a ball was kicked....man city are the best club in the country by a mile and so much so that the fans of the clubs that used to buy the title have an issue with them doing the same thing.

Depending on how their trial goes.

If they lose it could have a huge impact on them.

If they win, it could open a huge opportunity for us (and other clubs who want to compete with the big boys).

I like Man City, I love how Ferguson said years ago “the noisy neighbours won’t win a title whilst I’m alive” been completely done by City. Broke up the status quo of Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea..

I can’t see them losing to be honest.

The PL will just change the rules.

Trial won't reach an outcome that fast.

For the trial maybe but the outcome will not come until spring and then the punishment will either follow, an appeal maybe and it'll drag on for a while.

Personally I believe the Premier league knows it's going to lose....it's all just kicking the can down the hill for as long as possible.... they'll then use it to sell the idea the squad cost ratio isn't even worse than the current rules.

    First point I agree with.

Second point, however, I don’t. My impression is that the charges City face could be generalised as ‘cooking the books’.if City are, therefore, successful, it will simply mean there was insufficient evidence to prove that they ‘cooked the books’. Wouldn’t, therefore, be of much relevance to us.

Think the PL will try to change the rules in any event

I have been telling you all for a year that the intention is to replace the current rules with a squad cost ratio system.

It's all about wages.... and we know it's the wages that determine where clubs finish... it will also allow quicker penalties.

I watched Masters wriggle in a chair in the commons talking about it.

It'll be worse, but of course they'll sell it as being better. Much like the current rules where they had the cheek to stick the word fair in the description.

Thank God that you’re around to tell us. None of us would be any the wiser without you.

    <doh>

Those rules are already coming in to play. Those aren’t the ones I’m talking about.Sponsorship and enforcement rules are the ones I’m talking about.
