Well Rerver, Leeds have all to play for and will be no pushover. Wire are playing London and will take them to the cleaners. I can see Rervers skipper being given a ban for his yellow at the end so interesting times.
A bit like Newcastle, same colours, fairly big club relative to their minor sport, massive underachievers.
He doesn't like the darksiders, mind you I think they've got three of their players for next season. Not bitter.
I know little to nothing on how the whole thing is structured, but I would well imagine the rules were clear at the start when he signed up, so it would sound like his claims of legal action are bluff and bluster, and doomed to fail if they ever even start.
Like many of the owners he thinks Pearson is a pr1ck. They're sticking their hard earned in whilst he is using someone elses to take a wage out.
FC would have a much stronger legal case if they were relegated, with a rule change 1 week before the end of the season. I think they would have bought a load of players to keep them up, rather than push forward with all the young kids they have
There is growing support from owners for Derek on this one and rightly so. Nobody voted for someone to take the pee and underfund his squad whilst taking a huge whack himself. The owners in Super League are generally all sticking between 500k and £1.5m in a year to their clubs. He has made a mockery of the sport.
