VAR correctly intervened and overturned the decision, they didn't even need to send the ref to the monitor.
Like I say you agree with VAR when it suits and don't when it doesn't. This is a common phenomenon in football fans. If that decision went the other way you'd be blaming corruption. I'm simply saying you can't tell I'm not against the decision for the same reason I wasn't against our goal vs Arsenal...... it was inconclusive and therefore the onfield decision stood.
You are looking for things that aren't there, you can't score with your arm and it came off his arm. The Arsenal goal the ball is in play, the bird eye view showed the sphere had not all crossed the line..these aren't even subjective decisions like a bad tackle, just some people don't know what they are looking at.
There must be doubt as to whether we were lucky or not as some, myself included, think it was a clear handball. That part of it must be clear and obvious.
Many think otherwise hence the very key word I've used throughout 'arguable' Furthermore of there's a split in opinion that means the decision was lucky in the sense that the var rep was on one side of the of the fence and not the other. By the rules that should have stood.... incidentally for the same reason Newcastle fans argued the goal vs Arsenal last season should have stood. Ultimately I'm pleased but I don't feel the need to tell myself everything is fair when I suits me.
You should know by now that Newcastle will fail to take that opportunity mate. It'll most likely be 3rd though if they win
It's always there telling you... you try to shut it out but it's there! .. the sound of reality is always there
