Patto will get hammered for that, ignoring the fact we allowed a clear shot and didn't react to the follow-up

Had a feeling this could be a banana skin. Hopefully a good kick up the arse before Boro next week

It's his job to save a shot straight at him. It's his fault.

We should have put it to bed first half.

We’ve struggled with the intensity. I think Carrick will have Boro go right at us next weekend.

He saved the initial shot, the whole team reacted poorly

This is why I absolutely hate international breaks too, absolutely knackers any momentum.

We've been so poor today compared to previous games.

It might actually be a blessing losing now as we're still top.

Tough one to take that, see what Regis and these lads are made of next week now, not the end of the world

Deserve nothing. First time a team has sat in on us and we haven't been able to deal with it.

The second half was well below what we've shown so far.

Yep. But one moment in one game doesn’t tell us much. Doesn’t say tell us unequivocally about experience or strikers or Clarke or Mundle or RLB or speakman or anything. It’s just a game of football that we’ve ended up losing. Confirmation bias is a thing. If we’re taking snap judgements from today the most likely is that Dan Ballard isn’t that great - which we know to be false.

I agree. That's why I said Rooney has done RLB. Surprised but here we are.

    Deserved.

Not a drama, let’s see how we react.

Substitutions really questionable. Let them stay on top when they had their spell.

    Still a great start.

Just add a positive. Mundle. Nightmare to play against.

Poor result but we all would have taken 12 out of 15 at the start - now to react

No excuses there mind they’re ****ing piss poor. Outplayed and outworked. Am not sure why every manager we have seems to be so hesitant to make subs when the opposition start taking control. Huge game next week now back to winning ways hopefully.
